I was wondering if this is related to the Macromedia Fireworks 8 error that
started to occur after 0.9.51.

Hi!
This is not a bug in wine. This is bug in CityInfo 2.7. The problem is that
this application does not work on Windows 98.
Installation of SP1 fixes the problem.

Yes, wontfix because Microsoft does not provide ie5 downloads anymore. That
is, even if you can get a copy of ie5setup.exe, the app will not be able to
download IE from Microsoft's servers.

I installed the app in Wine. Seems to work fine.
Resolving as invalid, since we don't really support
running apps that are installed in Windows these days.
Jeremy, if you can reproduce this with a fresh
installation in Wine (not running your Windows one), please reopen.

I don't think so, at least if it did the performance hit was so little that it
was unnoticeable, with wine after alt tabing the performance hit is so big that
the game is almost unplayable.

Same here, CS is running at the same resolution as my desktop and I still get
the performance hit after alt tabing. This is not unique to CS though this also
happens for me in DoD which is another HL mod so I'm betting it happens in HL
to.

Mostly, someone from CodeWeavers tweaked the ReplaceFileW part a little bit.
I'm really glad this is finally implemented. Personally, I think that the way
patches are currently being handled is not very conducive to getting things
done. I've used both email and bugzilla for handling bugs for work and I find
that handling patches as separate bug topics makes handling patches and getting
them acceptable much easier. </end rant>

I'm running the same resolution ingame and on the Desktop, so no chance takes
place. I still suffer from this bug tho, so this is not the problem.

Same for me. But when minimizing some times it get back to normal fps. It has
to be a minimize where the resolution gets back to the desktops.
