This continues to fail on .56 -- I believe same warnings as before -- see log
attached on 1/26/2008. Here is a snippet of what happened when I ran today:
fixme:imm:ImmDisableIME (-1): stub
fixme:wininet:InternetGetConnectedState always returning LAN connection.

I tested the git after comment #63. This test is against FLStudio which is
listed under the "Show Apps affected by this bug" link above, specifically FL
Studio version 7 (of which the demo is called flstudio7_rc6b). I also tested
the non-publicly-available FL Studio ver 8 rc2 and had essentially the same
results:
Minimizing the app now produces a task bar button in Gnome (it had nothing
before), and there is also a small (about 32x32 maybe?) window that remains on
the desktop (again this was not present before). Neither one can be
Unminimized back either by right-click menu (grayed out) or click on task bar
button, but they can be right-click Closed and the FL.exe and wine processes
close out normally. Certainly not ideal, but a step ahead from just losing all
windows and having to kill processes just to close the app.
The thing about these Delphi apps (as I understand it) is there are two
windows, one of which is 1x1 ? That being the case, it is undoubtedly that 1x1
(or hidden) window which is the key to doing the Unminimize, and the other
32x32 window needs to be hidden when minimized. But my understanding may be
faulty so do not overrate my "help".

Say, can you reproduce the bug with this downloadable version?
http://www.ultraedit.com/downloads/uestudio_download.html
Or do you know where I can find a downloadable version of UEStuido 05?
If you're going to generate another crash dump, it might be useful to run:
WINEDEBUG=+font /path/to/wine uestudio.exe > crash_dump.txt 2>&1

(From update of attachment 11103)
you attached a 2 byte empty file...
Can you compile Wine from the source code yourself and generate a console dump
like the last one you make?

Log & font attached.
I notice the windows font uses a much larger NE header / resource tables than
the wine font. Perhaps this is related.
Also, I loaded fontforge. It will load the font but does not display any
characters.

Now you are telling it... ;) Let's hope it'll not take that long to implement
it still.
I created a wiki page for D3DRM, http://wiki.winehq.org/D3DRM, and also added
the page to the DLL to do list: http://wiki.winehq.org/DLLTodoList. I hope I
did it fine, as it was my first addition to the wiki here.

And we're trying to tell you it's a lot harder than that.
Please take it to the wiki and post the URL for the wiki page here.
