In case it's not clear, a (bad) workaround is to run with wineconsole.
This isn't great for commandline apps, as the window
vanishes as soon as the app is done, and output can't
be redirected.

Summary: BW Styler Plugin for Photoshop CS2 ugly cosmetic problem
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.55.
Platform: Other
URL: http://http://thepluginshop.com/products/download/BWStyl
erDemo.exe
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
Reported by Kyle G. at http://www.adobeforums.com/webx?14@@.3c05a212/14
The BW Styler Plugin has a cosmetic problem;
the word 'more' should be displayed to the
right of a bunch of pulldowns, but is displayed instead on top of them.
To repeat: install both Photoshop CS2 trial and BW Styler Demo as follows:
rm -rf ~/.wine
sh winetricks -q vcrun6 corefonts
cd installers/Photoshop\ CS2/
wine Setup.exe
cd -
wine BWStylerDemo.exe
Then start photoshop, create a blank image, and select the
plugin with Filter / Photo Wiz / BW Styler.
You should see the problem as soon as the filter's main
dialog comes up. I'll attach 'good' and 'bad' screenshots
(from Kyle G, but I see it too).

When I download the files for my comtia practice tests using v0.9.46 ,wine
works fine. After I upgrade to the new v0.9.54 it no longer works. I had to
downgrade and prevent updates from loading to use this type of site. Something
changed for the worse in the new version. Thanks Thank goodness the old version
works well.

I think I finally found a fix for this bug : the problem was that we are all 64
bit users, and our linux distribution install the mesa i686 libGL. I solved the
problem with Guild Wars by installing the 32 bits libs made for my graphics
card (on archlinux, lib32-nvidia-utils), Guild Wars works perfectly, no more
bugs.
It also solved the dual-TMU bug I got with World of Warcraft, so these two bugs
were surely linked.
Moreover, it fixes a bug I was getting, which made the game bug with the
message « Assertion `image_bytes <= ((4 * reply.length) - 0)' failed » ;) .
Installing the right libGL may solve a lot of 64 bits related bugs. Now, it's
6AM, going to sleep.
