I also confirm this bug! Please include a patch in wine to fix this, i had
liked to have the game working (out-of-the-box, i'm not a patcher) :D
--- Comment #118 from Ben Hodgetts (Enverex) <ben(a)atomnet.co.uk> 2008-06-22 07:02:42 ---
The patch wont be included unless it is submitted to Wine Patches AND it is up
to the standard that AJ will accept.

testing on 1.0 deb package for ubuntu 7.10 starcraft + bnet is now fully
playable (now shows bnet text), bnet background is still missing but this does
not affect choosing a game)
basically this is the 0.9.33 behaviour again. :)
--- Comment #88 from Austin English <austinenglish(a)gmail.com> 2008-06-22 04:10:31 ---
Anyone else care to confirm this?

Any news for this bug?
Please, can this bug be fixed? I try to run office 2002 since a long time...
Would be nice to fix for next version though, as this suite is an important
program, i think...

The sort of refocus that works (in X-Wing Alliance, at least) was: move the
mouse outside the desktop window, Alt-Tab to another window, Alt-Tab back.
This worked for me, at least - very reliably.

Summary: Firefox window runs away from cursor
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0.0
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kogepathic(a)gmail.com
The Firefox window, when focused on, immediately shifts down, thus preventing
it from coming to focus. However, you can focus the window by clicking anywhere
within the window. The window also shifts when you click on another tab, close
another tab, or hit any key to address a dialog.
Quite annoying, impacts the usefulness of Firefox in a huge way.
Wine 1.0
Firefox 3.0
Gentoo 2007.1, Enlightenment DR17
This did *NOT* happen with wine 0.9.59.

With latest 1.0 Wine, the focus issue still exists. Even when I refocus in
windowed mode the game still does not responds. Is this maybe caused by the
fact that I use PlayonLinux?
