Is this still an issue in current (1.0-rc4) or newer wine?

Retried with new client version and wine "1.0"rc4. Behavior is identical,
except I get different filenames:
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 0 Jun 12 19:47 Mankind.1.254.256.npr
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 16 Jun 12 19:08 Mankind.dpf
-rwxr-xr-x 1 user user 188416 Oct 14 2005 Mankind.exe
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 32768 Oct 14 2005 Mankind.mac
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 61440 Oct 14 2005 Mankind.npo
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 20 Oct 14 2005 Mankind.npp
-rw-r--r-- 1 user user 255 Oct 16 2005 mankind.cfg
Mankind.1.254.256.npr and Mankind.dpf seem to be created during the update
process.
Whats new here is the filename extension 1.254.256.npr. It used to be
1.231.238.npr. Mankind obviously doesn't download anything, thus the update
fails.
So let reopen this bug...

Confirming. Adding download/source keyword since it can be reproduced in
taskmgr.

I retried with "new" Mankind client software (1.8 "international", see appdb:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=12412 ) and wine
"1.0"rc4.
The behavior is identical: See http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5388#c3
>From this identical behavior I figure that at least the parts of the client
code responsible for downloading and installing updates did not change too
much.
Therefor I'd like to reopen this bug.
