Game is still unplayable with wine 1.1.4. Some bugs with only one or few votes
were already fixed or they're planed to do so. Do votes have any meaning? And
people, it's a regression.

I want to try and test this bug, but AFAICS there's no game by the name of
"Sega Sonic 3 Race", or anything similar that I can see.
Did you mean Sonic R?

Summary: No longer possible to install Windows Script
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0.0
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: goeran(a)uddeborg.se
In wine 0.9.52 I could install Windows Script by doing "wine scripten.exe", as
I describe in the AppDB for Fractal Mapper. (The suggestion exists in other
AppDB entries too, like
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=4270&iTestingI…)
Trying to do the same in wine 1.0 no longer works. I get an error window
saying "The cluster size in this system is not supported"
The console output has one line that I don't understand, but possibly could
have something to do with this:
fixme:ntdll:server_ioctl_file Unsupported ioctl 24000 (device=2 access=1 func=0
method=0)

I ran TM2008 from a command line and redirected the output. I dont' know if the
print statements come from wine or TM, but when it's *not* locked, I get the
following in the output: (copied from a diff -c output of the two logs)
! fixme:shdocvw:OleInPlaceObject_InPlaceDeactivate (0x13e6c0)
! fixme:mshtml:HlinkTarget_SetBrowseContext (0x1f91568)->((nil))
! fixme:shdocvw:OleObject_Close (0x13e6c0)->(1)
These 3 statements are not in the locked version.
I'm attaching the last context diff containing this. It shows that TM goes into
a loop calling
'DllCanUnloadNow stub'
'DllCanUnloadNow ()'
about 1min apart.
The diffs for the rest of the file look like just different memory addresses.

I just installed TM2008 with DotNet using wine-1.0 on ubuntu-8.04. I get the
same issue with TM freezing after downloading the database. I haven't noticed
any problems with corrupting the database yet, but I haven't done anything with
it yet either. The database corruption bug has me a little worried.
What can I do to help in debugging this? I can install TM in VirtualBox, or on
a separate XP partition, but I want to be able to do away with the need for
that XP license. (I have XP SP2, but I like linux.) I'm not sure how much time
or expertise I can bring, but I'm willing to try and help where I can.

Summary: Unreal II XMP: program launches with errors
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.3
Platform: PC-x86-64
URL: http://www.xmpcommunity.com/download.html
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: pastas4(a)gmail.com
When trying to launch Unreal II XMP, the screen starts acting oddly. Not even
sure how to describe it, and no way to take screenshots... But the screen like
gets divided to a lot of small squares (around 10x10px big) which all show
other parts of the window. Everything gets blacks instead of the squares near
the mouse, and the black squares appear as the mouse hovers on them. If I try
to move the mouse directly up, it seems it moves diagonally in the screen. Each
square shows some parts of the desktop, and in the wrong position (the close
button, that should be in the top right, is then in the lower right position),
and some squares are duplicates of the same parts (like I can see half of the
close button in one, another half - in another, and the full button in the
third!). Minimising Wine window doesn't change anything, and the only way to
get back to the normal window is to either press Alt+F4 or manually navigate
the mouse on the close button. It's not even near any playability. I have a
widescreen, ARI Radeon card with fglrx drivers, Wine Config is in the default
options but with Vertex Shader Support set to None, and Pixel Shader disabled.
I'll post Wine output later as I'm now in safe mode...
