I have an integrated Intel G33 video chip and can run games only on dxlevel=70.
I have completed HL2 without flashlight, but it seems to be impossible to play
EP1.
The sympthoms are: No effect when turning flashlight on in dark places, but
some objects (like blood stains, Alyx's eyes became darker.

it compiles again
After making some investigation when eliminating patch. So for me this patch
causes a regression.

Tested wine-1.1.4-477-g343d242, still present.
wine control
open 'Add/Remove Programs'
close control.

I can't produce any crash with wine-1.1.4-477-g343d242 -- played two races with

That bug looks the same to me, the only difference is that the SIMs don't have
any textures on them and flash red.. I guess I need a new video card to play
this game?
