I have Wine 1.1.23 installed on fc10. I installed MSWord 2000 and tried to run Equation Editor 3.0. MSWord ran well. EqnEd gave the error message documented above. Many Object types from the Insert Object menu also failed. Following this thread I set Wine to use the native usp10.dll and replaced the Wine ole32.dll.so with the Crossover ole32.dll.so. After this EqnEd worked well. I also installed Crossover 8.0; EqnEd worked terribly in this environment, possibly because I put it in a Win98 bottle. Still has last part of re-size issue I believe but it doesn't prevent input into properties window any longer.
