Current status is "not very well documented nor well understood by me". I was
intentionally waiting, however, as winelib has been going through some changes
and this way I could minimize the amount of rewriting. I'll start trying to
piece together an overview and poking Francois when I get stuck.

RegisterWaitForSingleObject() fix special tmo == 0 case.
At http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa332406%28VS.71%29.aspx one
can read:
"If the timeOutInterval parameter is not zero (0) and the executeOnlyOnce
parameter is false, the timer is reset every time the event is signaled
or the time-out interval elapses."
timeOutInterval == 0 makes the above false and the timer should NOT
be reset, the attached patch fixes that.

Pre-packaged .lnk files that get just copied into place would bypass shell32's
IShellLink's IPersistFile_Save, and winemenubuilder won't get invoked to build
.desktop files. Such files also imply that you can't choose where to install
the application, since that affects the .lnk contents?
We shouldn't store the Wine prefix in the .lnk file, it could go into some
other settings database (maybe not the registry, since that's local to each
Wine prefix), from where the tool that starts .lnk can look up which Wine to
use.
At least we can patch Gnome and write a thumbnailer - it must be real fun and
games to fix this on MacOS :-).

Those are broken on Windows too, although differently. I recall that
Windows has a dialog to search or browse a missing shortcut target.
We could do something along those lines if we don't find the prefix.

Perhaps we can store the Wine prefix in the .lnk file somewhere. Then we'd
write
a Unix tool that extracts the prefix and runs 'wine start <shortcut>.lnk' in
it.
We'd register the tool with the native desktop as the handler for
application/x-win-lnk and stop writing separate .desktop files when writing
to the desktop folder.
That leaves the thumbnail issue. Presumably thumbnails are cached to mitigate
the performance issue? Alternatively we could have our own thumbnailer cache
the generated icons.
Another issue with this approach is that Gnome hides the .desktop extension
but not the .lnk extension, like Windows does.

If the application wants to write .lnk file to:
~/.wine/drive_c/users/user/Desktop
and Wine instead writes to:
~/.wine/drive_c/users/Public/Desktop
the application still thinks it wrote to:
~/.wine/drive_c/users/user/Desktop
and on uninstall tries to delete the .lnk from:
~/.wine/drive_c/users/user/Desktop
where it isn't.

use wine version 1.1.25 with this patch

compile wine and use native dinput8.dll for input working.
The above patch also fixes NFS Carbon crash.

Summary: Foobar: pausing under pulseaudio causes other audio
output to stutter/pop
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.42
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rkeevil+winebugs(a)gmail.com
Hi,
Using the latest Foobar v1.03 ( http://www.foobar2000.org/download ), and the
latest version of Wine (1.1.42) as a pre-packaged deb from lamaresh.net on
Debian unstable.
Wine is configured to use ALSA output. Normal Foobar playback is fine, but
when paused, it causes stuttering and popping with any other audio that is
currently playing back (with pulseaudio), as well as higher CPU usage than when
playing.
Pulseaudio CPU usage increases from 1% to 4% when going from playing to paused.
If the pulseaudio volume control (pavucontrol) is open, then the wine entry
will flicker ("ALSA plug-in [wine-preloader]"), as if the Wine ALSA stream is
being continually created and destroyed?

Indeed, the last patches I tried to send were from last summer.
Mostly, what I accomplished on my GSOC was:
* Wrote a test suite for dplayx (I wrote nothing for dpwsockx, as it's
not used directly by any application AFAIK)
* Fixed some trivial bugs in dplayx according to the test cases
* Began to implement dpwsockx. I tested it with a DirectX SDK example
(SimpleConnect.exe), and managed to get a client and a server
connected IIRC, but I wasn't able to get messages to be passed.
I also managed to get from Microsoft the documentation to implement
new DirectPlay Service Providers, but they sent it to me right after
my GSOC was finished.
I uploaded my work to http://repo.or.cz/w/wine/gsoc_dplay.git, but
most of the patches weren't good enough to get accepted, and I didn't
have enough time to fix them all. Also, my implementation of dpwsockx
was mostly a hack to get something working quickly, and a proper
implementation would be needed, but I didn't really know how to setup
threads and sockets properly, and still haven't had the time to
analyze the architecture of some game networking libraries I
downloaded.
I don't think I'll have enough time to fix this all anytime soon, but
I could certainly help if it's needed.

so when some application want to write .lnk file to:

and when uninstaller will want to delete it from:

Can it work just like that?

Yes, it's just a quick hack. It doesn't check whether CLOCK_MONOTONIC is
defined and implemented, it has no error handling, and I guess it should be
made relative to wineserver start time.
Furthermore, I don't know whether existing server_start_time variable can be
reused for this purpose. When I grepped the source (long time ago) for
server_start_time and gettimeofday, I found it confusing and requiring deeper
analysis, for which I just had no time.

The mouse works OK in other wine apps that I tried (Guildwars and notepad).

WINEDEBUG=+all output from running lotrohigh.exe (received hang)
The current Lord of the Rings Online Downloader (for the "Siege of Mirkwood"
release) will either crash with a stack overflow or hangs with an apparent
thread-deadlock (err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection ... wait timed out ...).
I'm updating my wine to 1.1.44 now, so I'll run some more tests and debug
session so I can print all of the threads when I get the deadlock. Sometimes I
get the crash, sometimes I get the hang.
Steps to reproduce:
You can reproduce this in a number of different ways, but for clarity sake, I
have not run any winetricks (as recommended on the appdb page for LOTRO). Here
is what I have done:
cd
WINEPREFIX=/home/daniel/.wine-lotro-test winecfg
# Changed windows version to win2k
cd .wine-lotro-test/drive_c/Program\ Files/
wget http://cdn.content.turbine.com/sites/clientdl/lotro/lotrohigh.exe
WINEPREFIX=/home/daniel/.wine-lotro-test WINEDEBUG=+all wine lotrohigh.exe >
lotrohigh.exe.log 2>&1
The downloader/installer for the previous release, Mines of Moria, did function
correctly, so I'm not sure what changed. I'll see if I can find the old
installer and see if it works on the current wine or not and post that later.

In Dungeon Keeper 2 one can possess a creature with the Possession spell. In
doing so one can control the creature with the mouse and arrow keys.
Normally one should be able to turn as much as one wants but in current git
(1.1.44) the rotation stops after having turned 360 degrees at max.
It seems like there's an invisible rotation border at a specific point. How
much you can rotate depends on the angle from this invisible border your
possession begins (in what direction the creature is turning when you make a
possession).
I have a feeling this is related to the other mouse issues in the game - like
the invisible boxes you will hit in the lower right corner, until you move the
mouse to the opposite corner and they disappear.
It's almost as if the game doesn't "know" it's in possession mode, and if you
then imagine the cursor in the game moving from one side of the screen to the
other, then at some point it will hit the corner and you can't move it anymore.
It seems like this is what is happening in the background even when you are in
possession mode (where the of course is no cursor).

None of the "copy to LSANS.fot" tricks really worked for me, so I decided to
give this set of patches a shot.
If would have saved me a lot of hassle if I had have known to begin with that
the command:
sudo apt-get build-dep wine
Installed all of the required components for compiling wine.
Once that was sorted though everything went pretty smoothly, however the steam
login box on this modified version of wine does not appear properly - so I
can't login to try Civ3.
I tried to run the executable for Civ3 directly, but it still brought up the
steam login.
I'm running Ubuntu 10.4 and I applied your patches to the current sourceforge
version (1.1.39).
Any ideas?

Created an attachment (id=27987)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=27987)
crashlog when Winword6 ist started under wine 1.1.44
The int21 error is still there, but on top of that now, WW6 crashes when
calling 16bit ole2.
The same ole2 crash is created even with ole32 set to native with winecfg.
It seems that even though the original 16bit dlls coming with WW6 are activated
under winecfg, still the original 32bit code of wine is called.
The OS version was set to WIN98.

I retried a fresh install with 1.1.44: Now the installer starts to copy and
shows the usual "could not create program manager groups", however with some
long delays in between, but then the blue setup screen stays on forever
(>20min). If I press ctrl-c in the wine console, WW6 seems to be installed
though, I can start it from the command line, but with the same errors as
before.

This patch is not correct (and I don't know how to fix it yet). There's a
problem with handling long doubles in parameters.

Since this bug affects a lot of programs, since it is a regression and since
there is a working patch out in the wild: Is it possible to add it to the WINE

Reproduce with
sh winetricks autohotkey
cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/AutoHotkey$

autohotkey foo.ahk
You should see a tray icon with a big H for ten seconds.

This bug is still present in Wine 1.1.44 and affects even OrCAD 16 in the same
way, and the same workaround as mentioned in Comment #3 works.
I personally think should be fixed! It's been almost 5 years and people have to
edit dialog.c everytime they want to upgrade Wine. That's not how it should be,
is it?

It's fine the bug isn't related to concrete windows app, rather common MDI
problem -it's more determined.
Currently I have not opportunity to create a box with old evironment (libc,
gcc,.. etc.) - having working git under this environment :-) At any case
problematic commit takes place between 20041019 and 20041201 releases. I can

wined3d: Disable strict draw ordering by default.
While some performance hit from the extra flushes was expected and would be
acceptable, the performance hit can be over 50% on some configurations,
which
clearly isn't acceptable. This patch introduces a "StrictDrawOrdering"
registry key for applications affected by this, until we have a more
structural solution.

You can't trust that database, because different languages of the same game can
have different versions of that protection, patches changes the version
(improve) in a lot of cases... You should always figure that on your own - from
your installed game.
Also these days older games are pretty cheap and "bundled to magazines or
chips" ;) For example you can find editions like "Golden classic" sold legally
with cracked exe!
Not counting human mistakes, when filling such database.

Problem relevant to specific SecuROM versions??
I have:
[Game] [SecuROM version]
Homeworld 2 1.0 - 4.84... Works
Homeworld 2 1.1 - 5.00... detects "CD Emulation"
Star Wars: KotOR2 - 5.03... Works
F.E.A.R. - 7.11... Works
Bioshock 1.0 - 7.34... Works
(version numbers from DaemonTools website, See Comment #1)
Results noticed from Wine 1.1.29-1.1.42
Did not require online activation (except maybe Bioshock during "update")
With version 5.00 I was able to change OS mode to WinNT to get it to run for a
short while, then it seemed to 'adapt' and wouldn't run again. I got lucky the
next day after deleting some keys, but it didn't last long before it 'adapted'
again.

Still present with current wine-1.1.44-72-g658209b.
It's not a drawing problem, a possible issue with custom window colour is fixed
by commit dcddea361f3cd2717c92757adddb87badc55d3ff (isn't directly related to
this bug, just for record).
A real problem is that application (most likely VFP runtime itself) does
something like this:
---
0009:Call KERNEL32.Sleep(00000001) ret=0c15fc55
0009:Ret KERNEL32.Sleep() retval=00000000 ret=0c15fc55

0009:Ret gdi32.GetTextExtentPoint32A() retval=00000001 ret=0c0177e6
0009:Call user32.SetCaretPos(000000b8,00000010) ret=0c12077d
trace:msg:SetSystemTimer Added 0x10078 ffff 0xffff0028 timeout 500
0009:Ret user32.SetCaretPos() retval=00000001 ret=0c12077d
---
And this is constantly repeated - Sleep() -> GetQueueStatus() -> SetCaretPos().
In SetCaretPos() we're doing SetSystemTimer again and again which starts it
every time and timer callback is never reached. Consecutive SetCaretPos() calls
happen really fast - always <=50ms (normally 10ms) on mine vbox.
Removing SetSystemTimer() from SetCaretPos() fixes this, and lets a caret blink
normally. I'll test it more.

See bug 22597 and bug 22598. I've created them to be more precise with the
problems of these games. They crash in two situations: when you set resolution
higher than 640x480 (22597) and when you enable audio in Wine settings (22598).
Please see this attachment i've uploaded:

It's my backtrace from PES 6 demo. It's almost identical to yours, except for
the "GetParent" thing.
Make sure you don't have any addons (winetricks, Play On Linux, etc.), also you
must have a clean installation of Wine without native dlls or DirectX
installed. Also specify wich hardware are you using.
I still believe this bug should be closed and we should focus on the new bug
reports.

Heh.. Ok, I'll try to describe the issue again :-)
Say, we have internal window inside main window, and the first one doesn't
touch any edge of the second. Now, let's try to resize intenal window this way:
take with mouse, say, right bottom corner and drag it towards right bottom
corner of the main window. At the moment when you drop "resize mouse pointer" -
and last one touches any edge or right-bottom corner of main window, scroll
bar(s) suddenly appears. Expected (and old, very old :-)) behavior: after
dropping resize pointer, intenal window is resized to be *adjoining* internal
window edges. *Without* any scrollbars.

Summary: [NOT A BUG] Wine doesn't need 1.2 release
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P1
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: t.artem(a)mailcity.com
Hello, everyone!
Recently Alexander Julliard announced plans concerning stable Wine 1.2 release.
Let me voice my opinion here and some thoughts concerning Wine development and
future.
The whole point of releasing Wine 1.0 was to attract developers and say to the
world, “We are stable” you can join us; you can even port Windows applications
to Linux using Wine-lib. AFAIK, not too many developers joined afterwards,
AFAIK few to zero Windows applications have been ported to Linux using Wine
1.0(.1) codebase. So, we shook the world by releasing the first stable open
source Win32 API and it was good for Wine's publicity and popularity. However
no such point exists at present, Wine is well known and there is no need to
announce the next stable release.
Another point of releasing Wine 1.0 was to *maintain* a stable Wine. Time has
shown no one wants to maintain stable Wine releases (do not tell me the single
update counts as an example of maintaining a project).
So, it seems to me two most important reasons of releasing a "stable" version
of Wine are completely irrelevant.
The third reason of why doing this doesn't make too much sense is that any
newer Wine release (like 1.1.44) can successfully run for more applications
than semi-stable Wine 1.0. Forcing developers to resolve 1.2 nominee bugs also
doesn't seem a good idea - some of those bugs simply need paid developers
because bugs are so complicated they need developers' sweat and blood, so
external contributors will not likely be interested and if they start fixing
them, they can be distracted from working on other no less relevant problems.
Wine's real problem is that it lacks profound regression testing. Generally,
every new Wine release is better than a previous one, but since regressions are
introduced regularly, people complain.
The bottom line is that Wine does not need the next stable release (which will
be a waste and strain of developers’ time and energy); Wine only needs a good
regression testing.
My only proposal is to change Wine releases naming scheme.
Right now we have quite meaningless 1.1.XX releases, which is dull at best. I
propose a scheme based on a year and a release number within this year.
So, the first release of year 2010 will be 10.1, the second release 10.2 and so
on and so forth. Releases' numbers are assigned on a day of release to avoid
confusion. Since this scheme has not been used before, I propose instead of
releasing Wine 1.2, start a new versioning scheme, where the next Wine release
will be 10.1. That will be a bomb, and Wine we will be a super star once again.
Thanks everyone for their hard work,
Artem S. Tashkinov
P.S. Please, repost this message to wine-devel if you find it deserving other
developers' attention.

Regarding your question, MDI applications work in Wine, it's not clear to me
from the description what kind of a problem your app has.

I have not tested as far as I'm not aware about (and have not) Windows apps at
all, except for LTspice and another free app (last one has not MDI).
BTW, current bug description is misleading, as far as initially the bug
included two parts in accordance with first message. Currently the second one
is remaining. Is it possible to rename the bug with more corresponding and
speaking to wine team manner?

A lot of users perform the regression testing, it's really not that hard.

Dmitry, it seems I'm not experienced enough, especially taking in mind I have
the only (and new, and critical) environment in hands.
Not having Windows distribution I, of course, have not Windows applications :-)
- LTspice is almost the only I use (and the second and last one is also free).
I wonder, is LTspice the only MDI app having the problem? Do other MDI apps
work fine? The case LTspice is unique seems to me too surprising.

Dmitry, just want to inform 1.1.42 is also affected (under Kubuntu 10.4). If I
understand you correctly, you mean version field must be one when the bug was
discovered.
As for platform, I have switched to amd64 an age ago, and the issue doesn't
depend on platform arch. As a result, I think setting the field to All is a
correct as far as selecting a concrete one is misleading.

Unreal Engine 1 Games fail at Startup due to wined3d regression in
1.1.41-1.1.42
Due to a regression in wine during the 1.1.41 to 1.1.42 timeframe, Unreal
Engine 1 based games (tested with Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, and Deus Ex)
fail to startup due to a d3d error. The error dialog box produced by the

wined3d: Control the onscreen depth stencil format in the swapchain.
This allows the swapchain to know what depth format its window contexts
have to see if the
requested depth format is compatible or a FBO fallback is needed, and it
will be needed to
set the onscreen format to the requested auto depth stencil format instead
of the

end up testing this on a similiar (albeit nvidia-195.36.15,

Summary: Major performance drop in King's Bounty games with

Product: Wine

Platform: x86

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor

Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: gyebro69(a)gmail.com
Since Wine-1.1.43 both King's Bounty: The Legend and the sequel, King's Bounty:
Armored Princess are unplayable when shadows are enabled in the game. Both
games suffer severe performance drops with shadows enabled.
This was not the case prior to 1.1.43: I was able to play both games at
reasonable framerates with 'normal' shadows enabled on my mediocre hardware.
Tested with the Steam version of the games.
Workaround: disable shadows completely in the game. The issue doesn't seem to
affect the gameplay any other way.
Howto test the issue:
Start King's Bounty-Armored Princess, click on 'Options' and set shadow quality
anything beyond 'Neutral'. See the performance drops on the animated background
behind the princess in the menu. The main game itself also becomes unplayable
due to low framerates.
Bisecting between 1.1.42 and 1.1.43 came up with the following commit:

PS I'm already aware that a separate bug report has been posted about the

Now that we have a spiffy new msvcr80, I tested it on two
real apps: World of Warcraft and Starcraft II Beta, by
removing their bundled copies of msvcr80 (or equivalently
by marking msvcr80 as builtin only). This failed with
wine: ... unimplemented function msvcr80.dll._initterm_e, aborting
(imported by Battle.net.dll).
_initterm_e is supposedly a version of _initterm that returns 0 on
success, and adding a version that simply calls _initterm and returns 0
gets us on to the next problem.
wine: ... unimplemented function msvcr80.dll._encode_pointer, aborting
(imported by Battle.net.dll).
This is probably just a cdecl version of EncodePointer; implementing
_encode_pointer and _decode_pointer as simple cdecl wrappers gets us to
the next problem,
wine: ... unimplemented function msvcr80.dll._controlfp_s, aborting
(imported by d3dx9_41.dll)
That function's actually documented in msdn, and is probably easy to
fake-implement as a wrapper around control87, but needs tests.
That's where I stopped adding wrappers, and started using winedump
to see if I could get a more complete list of missing functions.
winedump -j import Battle.net.dll plus a little text munging shows
that file imports the following additional functions listed as stubs

wined3d: Ensure draw ordering across contexts.
---------------
Reverting this patch from the current HEAD was problematic so I reverted to the
patch before the one above using
git reset --hard b2e511f3918a83211eb577fa3c15bff931522d01
CC="ccache gcc" ./configure --verbose --disable-tests && make depend && make
Retrying this reverted Morrowind to its original and very playable state as in
Wine 1.1.37.
If you need any more information then please let me know.

Aztaka installs, but fails to run in wine-1.1.39 (wine shows a crash dialog).
Wine-1.1.39 (compiled from source)
Fedora 12 x86
Nvidia driver 190.53
Here you can find the demo version of game (in case of testing), ~890 Mbyte in
size: http://aztaka.citeremis.com/?page_id=292
Note #1: The installer (using NSIS's installer) installs DirectX Runtimes,
there is no option NOT to install it, finishing the setup process takes a very
long time (because of DX installation) but finally it succeeded.
Note #2: The game needs "winetricks vcrun2008" to run.
The last wine version I was able to run the game was 1.1.35, so I made a
regression test that ended up with the following:

The game initializes very long.
In game i get the following warning:
"Your computer has run out of paged pool memory. Visual quality may degrade.
Your graphics settings have been lowered to help, but performance may still be
poor."
This output is spammed continuously, so i suppose it's in the render loop:

implemented. Missing of cap D3DPMISCCAPS_INDEPENDENTWRITEMASKS wasn't honored?

The interesting thing is that this does not occur during the login screen in,
where graphics are rendered with game engine settings. I can even
set the options to Ultra and the framerate does not drop.
The initialisation process is a lot of faster with native d3d9 from winetricks.

is the patched version (1.10), and using a no CD patch to bypass safedisc.
Game exits without complaint in windowed mode. If the mouse was on screen when
the menu loads, it displays the mouse icon, but it is unresponsive. If the
icon loads over a hotspot, the hotspot reacts, but can't be clicked.
I've attached the log from the load, but there doesn't seem to be much of an

After starting new game in Giants: Citizen Kabuto Reaper demo v.1.0 (using all

and lakes are bluish, and on the sky you can see clouds. When the first enemies
(rippers) appear and you shoot them using long distance weapons they blow up
and generally (but not always) in the same time clouds and water dissapear. The
sky becomes composed of one colour, and water is fully transparent, you can

I'm using Wine 1.1.17 (compiled from source using gcc version 4.3.2 20081105
(Red Hat 4.3.2-7) ) on Fedora 10 i386. I've got installed: gecko, gdiplus,
vcrun2003, corefonts, msxml3, dotnet20 through winetricks
I get crash when I close window with help inside. Help is correctly displayed
and needs gecko installed.
Steps to reproduce:
1) start AutoCAD 2008 or AutoCAD Mechanical 2008
2) draw e.g. line
3) select line with ctrl pressed, new window opens and focus is exclusively on
that window
4) close that window, window closes
5) application receives no input and focus and after ca. 3 secs crashes without
error message
Error that appears in terminal is:
err:seh:raise_exception Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr (nil)

Summary: Inconsistent initial highlighting/selection of text in
dialog boxes in IDA Pro
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.9
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: markk(a)clara.co.uk
IDA Pro is an interactive disassembler. A freeware version can be downloaded
from http://www.hex-rays.com/idapro/idadownfreeware.htm
The initial highlighted state of text in dialog boxes differs between Wine and
Windows, reducing the usability of the program.
Download, install and run it. Open a Windows executable in IDA Pro. When the
analysis has finished, move the cursor over a label and press N to open the
"Rename address" window. In Windows the label name field appears highlighted,
so the current name is replaced when you type something. In Wine it is not, so
you need to delete the existing name manually.
This highlighting (or not) is inconsistent. Press ; to enter a comment on the
current line. Type anything and press Shift-Return, then press ; to edit the
comment you just entered. In the dialog box which appears, the current comment
text *does* appear highlighted, as it should. Note that the behaviour differs
between Wine and Windows here though. If you press cursor-left when the text is
highlighted, the cursor should move to the beginning of the text. In Wine it
does not, moving to the second-last character instead.

The automatic creation of the folder icons from their SVG source leaves a bit
to be desired. The ones introduced in commits
ed2c8669f0e131791bca22ee122c156f85382b87 and
51f3e69120caf133becb122fc48c9414d83222d4 have pretty bad visual artifacts.
The folder icon appears clipped at the bottom edge, while the open folder icon
is heavily aliased.
Both can be seen in the standard file open dialog from any program. I've
attached a screenshot from notepad.

Corrupted mp3 example image
The program GoldWave version 5.25 from here: http://www.goldwave.com
When loading mp3 files (especially when large >20 meg) corrupts them and the
following message occurs on standard out:
fixme:mpeg3:MPEG3_StreamSize misses the block header overhead
Please see the attached image of an example mp3 audio clip as loaded into
GoldWave compared to the same clip which was loaded into Audacity audio editor
and exported to wav, and that wav then loaded into GoldWave. The mp3 is
corrupted in 3 places (within the first second of time -- actual number of
corruptions is hundreds/thousands of occurences) in the example as compared to
the wav file. These distortions are very audible so when testing they can be
easily located simply by listening and then zooming in to the affected area
(turning down the volume to amplifier and speakers is advised).

I can play with iy - however it must be start in safe mode. Almost perfectly,
except the screen is upside down if some text, lifebar, or other icons appear
on the screen.
I've tried with the latest version 0.9.51 too, upside down remains, but in this
version the texts, and cursor doesn't appear at all - so i cannot start the
game.
