Of course Linux is the only supported OS right now, but I've sent a couple
patches to start the FreeBSD port. For now, main bug is ntdll, which fails to
compile in signal_x86_64.c:

I'm looking into it as time permits, but for now, it's useful to have a bug to
point FreeBSD users to.

Console output while starting QIP, typing message and closing QIP.
Bug appears in QIP 2010 while writing message.
It first appeared on Wine 1.1.43 (1.1.42 worked fine) and is still there on
1.2-rc1.
After entering first character of message text cursor of the input field moves
one position to the right and hangs there. It cannot be moved by mouse clicks
or arrow keys, so editing a message becomes hard.
Every press of key generates a message:

Summary: Lemmings game clone (Lemmix): problems running under
Wine.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0.1
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: turbolad995(a)hotmail.co.uk
****This is the first time I've posted a bug report for Wine, so please bear
with me if it's not perfect.****
If you try running Lemmix, only the background music works and none of the
other sounds work. The mouse pointer is corrupt: it should be a "+" and change
into a square when you move it over 1 or more lemmings. After playing 3
levels, the mouse stops working in the game.
You can try it yourself by downloading the Windows lemmings clone from:
http://ericenzwaan.nl/eric/lemmings/lemmix.htm
Note: Lemmix is NOT a DOS program and it won't run in a DOS emulator such as
DOSBox, despite the website showing "DOS" in the links.
I'm not a Linux or Wine expert.

Summary: Keyboard focus lost after switching to another app and
back
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.33
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: waldner+bugs.winehq.org(a)waldner.priv.at
Hi,
starting with wine 1.1.28 (.deb, via http://www.winehq.org/download/deblenny ),
whenever I switch focus away from a fullscreen app in wine (by changing to
another virtual desktop), I can't get the keyboard focus back to wine - mouse
works fine, though. The typed characters appear in the terminal where I started
wine instead. The appearance is that wine somehow prevents the window manager
from sending the focus to wine.
I found a couple bugs to that effect, all duplicated to 19822 (tagged FIXED for
1.1.29) or 19874 (tagged CLOSED WORKSFORME). However, the bug still appears in
1.1.33.
Tested with (originally noticed when running World of Warcraft):
- rm -rv ~/.wine
- install the to-be-tested wine
- run winecfg, say "no" to gecko download
- set "emulate a virtual desktop", size 2048x1152 (my native screen resolution)
- ok
- re-run winecfg
- go to "Libraries", type a couple characters in the "new override" field
- switch virtual desktop, type a couple characters in an xterm there
- switch virtual desktop back to wine
The various other options under "Graphics" in winecfg don't make any difference
regarding this.
Tested with wine 1.1.28, 1.1.29, 1.1.30 and now 1.1.33. Have NOT tested 1.1.31
and 1.1.32.
This was not a problem with wine from 0.95 up to incl. 1.1.27.
Environment: Debian 5.0.3 (Lenny) i386, up-to-date, Enlightenment as window
manager (3x3 virtual desktops).
cheers,
Robert Waldner
