Wine startup trace while launching Eve
Eve Online (Apocrypha) doesn't start anymore since I upgraded from Ubuntu 9.04
/ wine 1.1.30 to Ubuntu 9.10 / wine 1.1.32.
The Eve online splash screen appears a fews seconds, then disappears. I
attached what wine logged on terminal.
Please note that I until wine 1.1.30, Eve was running OK with those winetricks
modifications : corefonts+directx dll overide.

Summary: Skijump stops with "Clock Error" Message
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.10
Platform: PC-x86-64
URL: http://www.mediamond.fi/dsj3/downloads/dsj3v161.exe
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: jehawking(a)yahoo.co.uk
This is a follow on bug to Bug 10836 which appears to have been cured but now
the programme runs on to reveal this problem.
Skijump finds its output screen (it did not under the 10836) sets it up as a
black window and then errors out with a message "Clock Error".
A terminal window shows messages about the programme wanting two backbuffers,
some d3d messages and a message about changing thread type but nothing
obviously related to clocks.
I tried to do a debug log - but that seems to change the results and the log
seemed to be looping through the same code until my patience wore out.
The code it was looping through did include calls to GetTickCount which does
tie in with clocks and is mentioned in other bugs such as 8320 and 7710 as a
problem.
I do not know how to take this further.

You need to test the return value of SetWindowPos().

This is the cause of one of the crashes in your trace.

This is the other crash, could be a bug in builtin msxml3 or libxml2.
'winetricks msxml3' is a workaround.

If you want to fix this, just compile Wine with your proprietary driver.
Binaries was compiled with Mesa3D and have this bug.
