It looks like the program wants to see what ip addresses are on my network interfaces, but bombs out. I've tried running the program as root through sudo with the same result. The real problem come when one goes to use the application to play a game and a pop up window tells the user that the wii plugin was not found. Perhaps it's looking for updates in the background, as it fiddles with files in .wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/dkegel/Application Data/Adobe/AIR/update/background and is doing requests like this: trace:wininet:HttpOpenRequestW (0x2, L"HEAD", L"", (null), L"app:/AMP.swf", 0x1ab738, 8040c000, 008c12c0) But I would expect it to put up a GUI or something. This causes a test for comctl32/tests/status.c to fail. This test fails on Wine with both Wine Tahoma as well as with Tahomas copied from Windows XP and Windows Vista. (downloading http://dl.google.com/googletalk/googletalkplugin/GoogleVoiceAndVideoSetup.e… directly does not work) 4.
