On first start it is trying to autoupdate. The autoupdate installer shows the message: "Rhapsody is running. It must be shut down during installation. Click OK." But clicking OK doesn't shut down Rhapsody. When I kill the rhapsody.exe process by hand the autoupdater continues and finishes successfully. In the attached terminal output I marked the point where I killed rhapsody.exe. HotWheels Stunt Track Driver 2 installs fine but fails to find the CD in both XP and 98 compatibility modes. It will show an image of inserting a CD into drive and rather than exiting the program with the Esc key, it causes a page fault which fails to debug and remains fully locked up. Whem I'm on a query window, putting the cursor over the table name and pressing F4 I got the following error setup_exception_record stack overflow 1252 bytes in thread 0009 eip 00408520 esp 00230e4c stack 0x230000-0x231000-0x340000 TOAD then freezes and cannot be usable anymore. It should instead have opened a window with a table-description. Now that I can actually get into Approach, I have been using it all day. I have five bugs to report. (I am presuming you want them on different reports.) I applied a local fix to allow this temporarily (if this is usual is it documented anywhere?). The behaviour of ACEDEMO was then as reported in a recent test report submitted by José Manuel Ferrer. The application hangs whenever Ace attempts to utter a wittisism, some may think this is a good thing! We have a problem with Wine 1.3.15 and First Class 10.009, this problem occurs only when the user does not have any administrative rights in the First Class network he or she is connected to. Upon printing the application crashes. I have attached a debug trace from Wine that hopefully has the info needed to solve the problem, the OS is Ubuntu 10.10 64 Bit. If you need any more information i will be happy to add it as soon as i can and assist you in any way possible to solve this. I am however no programmer. (I believe you can download several versions of that app from the URL above, haven't tried that myself.) The app's installer completes, but Wine warns that MSCAT32.DLL was not found. Mike Hearn posted a patch that adds stubs for this, http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2006-April/026116.html , so I updated it a bit, added two missing forwards, and now the app installs without warning. The next problem was a crash on startup, with backtrace starting with =>1 0x7e37a450 convert_888_to_565_asis+0x70(width=0x78, height=0x18, srcbits=0x4537888, srclinebytes=0x168, dstbits=0x7c081940, dstlinebytes=0xffffff10) [/home/dank/wine-git/dlls/winex11.drv/dib_convert.c:733] in winex11 (0x0033eed4) Now, that's an old friend, and a patch for it is in http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7380#c16 With that patch, the app starts up and can find media properly. Once you've done all that, you come to the bug that is the subject of this report, namely, it crashes when you ask it to load a .msv file. Reason for the bug entry: On Windows XP it works without the bypassing. Starting the game with wine FleetOps.exe quits wine very quickly. The installer downloads about 140MB of application payload (can be reduced to about half that in an early dialog) and then proceeds to attempt installation. After the payload has downloaded, the installer goes through a bunch of 'wizard' panels. Finally, the installer says it was interrupted. The observed symptoms are essentially the same between WINE 1.3.24 and 1.3.25. I plan to attach a screenshot of the panel that says the installation was interrupted, a plain log file, and a log file with a 'msi' debug trace. It seems under mono the devices are added but the local device never receives confirmation back, unless the number of devices is hit, in which case you get an error. Logging in with a webbrowser and removing the devices lets you test more. So, to summarize: With dotnet, installing and running prey works. I can add new devices, and receive confirmation of success or failure. With mono210 (2.10.2) / wine-1.3.20: installing and running prey works. The alphabets are seperate while they should be together. - I have tested it on Opera Windows in wine and the same problem occurs. - I have tested it on Opera Linux and Firefox Linux and everything was good. - I have installed the necessary fonts into /~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts/ folder. - I have installed the necessary fonts in KDE desktop. I think there is a problem that Wine can not view UTF-8 Languages such as Persian, Arabic. However, when attempting to open an IM window with a contact, the application systematically crashes with a page fault in one of its threads, but app stays stuck until I do a Ctrl+C in the shell from which I launched it. Not being sure about what leads to that page fault, I've attached a debug log with +user,+advapi,+ole just in case. I case also provide a +all log if there's not enough infos in that log. Tested on Ubuntu 9.04 x86 32bits. This seems not supported in wine. I'm using an "early 2009" NVidia 9400GM Mac mini with OSX 10.5.8. and XQuartz 2.6.1. The crash occurs with both XQuartz 2.6.1 as well as XQuartz 2.5.(1?), with Wine-1.3.21 with the one post 1.3.21 swapchain patch (I had hoped that it would make a difference) and with Wine-1.1.24. UseGLSL makes no difference, nor does ORM=fbo or backbuffer. I've not tried out the original HoF version 2.0 without patch. One other weird note: The app provides msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll in the Heroes...\bina1\ directory. They get loadded by default. If saving the output instead of trying to copy it, the text file shows no problem and the program continues running normally. Crash happens if the output is from one of the analysis of the Analysis Menu (DNA Polymorfism, Polymorfic sites, etc) but apparently other outputs are ok, like the ones produced from Generate Menu (Haplotype Data File... for example). I tried .fas and .nex files as inputfiles. Same result. The fasta file was generated with Bioedit also running under Wine and the nexus with DNAsp with .fas as input. Judging from the installer's behavior using native wininet and urlmon via winetricks ie6, canceling a download should cause the installer to immediately display the dialog box, rather than deferring the display to download completion. On Wine, this seems to fail at random times. The easiest way to reproduce it is to run the mono tests. I've found that the test in mcs/class/Microsoft.Build.Engine does it pretty reliably.
