There are applications that make use of Network List Manager (NLM) introduced with Windows Vista/Windows 7 to check for network connectivity. Failure doesn't seem critical, they use other means to detect network state. Though I didn't test all of them. This bug can serve as collector for apps that spam terminal with "{dcb00c01-570f-4a9b-8d69-199fdba5723b}" (CLSID_NetworkListManager) messages. There are a series of other "errors" that occur during the setup process that occurred before with bug 21567. 1. Unable to register SlingSDK. Please contact system administrator. 2. Error 1603 Fatal error during registration, Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN. 3. SlingPlayerSetup encountered serious problem. Problem caused in the program or a deficiency in Wine.
