The program is installed using wine from its setup file. The program runs normal under windows XP and windows vista. On start, the program displays a message-box asking "wait trying to install required driver". But this breaks mouse in all menus. It stuck in the middle of screen. It ran perfectly after the installation. The next day I opened my computer and started playing Avernum from a saved game. It took only a few minutes till it crashed. The Avernum-window was frozen, but I still could move my mouse and access my Linux toolbars. I couldn't close the window though so I moved it to another workspace and started Avernum again. After a few minutes of gameplay it froze again. I repeated the process a few times and every time it froze because I was doing some simple command like 'look' or 'talk'.
