When using a test application with an embedded Windows Media Control and trying to open an AVI file under wine-1.3.9 and gstreamer support compiled in, the application hangs. The app menu is unresponsive, none of the buttons of the control work, not even the Close button of the window manager responds. The only way to terminate the app is to Ctrl-C from the console. If I use a previous kernel, 2.6.32-25-generic, it starts normally. In fact, this is the only thing that does not work using the new kernels. There is also a bug on the status checking. I've tested it with dotnet20 or dotnet30, and the same bugs occurs. Furthermore, when it does work the first time, it won't connect to the internet, to receive software updates (there is one that must be gotten to work with the subscriptions), the subscriptions never load since there is no internet, and the device is not recognized by the program when it is plugged in. Windows platforms usually identify it as "ardsihwprog". *Backtrace is attached. This is the first time I have ever done a backtrace, so I'm not entirely sure I did it correctly, but I believe I did. The backtrace was copy & pasted into an OpenOffice.Org document, and saved as an .odt file (open document text). If you need it in a different format, please let me know. I've tried the same while entering as root, but the problem remains inside the program. No problem in Windows. The problem is received when starting to copy folders and files, once the serial is put.
