I want to run some windows programs with ru_RU.utf8 and others with en_US.utf8.
If the first windows program is started with en_US, other programs can't use
Russian font MS Sans Serif, even though started with LANG=ru_RU.utf8 :
* the font dialog displays Script : { 'Western' }
* Russian letters displayed as black squares
If the first windows program is started with ru_RU, the font "MS Sans Serif" is
not listed in the font dialog.

Bug #: 33535
Summary: Got compile error with gcc 4.7.2
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.29
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wineps.drv

My OS info:
OS: Fedora 18
Kernel: 3.8.11-200.fc18.i686.PAE
GCC: gcc (GCC) 4.7.2 20121109 (Red Hat 4.7.2-8)
I got compile error when running "make depend" of wine-1.5.29. The build log
pointed out that wine-1.5.29/dlls/wineps.drv/data/Palatino_BoldItalic.o was an
empty file. I found that the Palatino_Italic.o、Palatino_Roman.o and Symbol.o
were also empty.
>From the build log, I found these four files were compiled with these
parameters:
"gcc -c -I. -I. -I../../include -I../../include -D__WINESRC__ -D_REENTRANT
-fPIC -Wall -pipe -fno-strict-aliasing -Wdeclaration-after-statement
-Wempty-body -Wignored-qualifiers -Wstrict-prototypes -Wtype-limits
-Wunused-but-set-parameter -Wwrite-strings -gdwarf-2 -gstrict-dwarf
-fno-omit-frame-pointer -Wpointer-arith -Wlogical-op -I/usr/include/freetype2
-g -O2 -o data/Palatino_BoldItalic.o data/Palatino_BoldItalic.c"
and the problem occur with "-Wignored-qualifiers". I recompiled these four file
manually without "-Wignored-qualifiers" and got nonempty files. Then I run
"make" again and no error occurs.

After applying the patches indicated on the appdb page at:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=26128
and running the game with wine 1.5.29 I get a warning pop up:
3GB Boot Option is applied on OS....
After closing the dialog box, the game seems to run just fine so its not a
major issue.
However, I did not have this problem with 1.5.27 and it is kinda annoying.
If you have the time to look into this it would be most appreciated.
Thanks

1.5.24 Fedora and office 2000 does not appear to have this problem. Perhaps it
is now only a firefox issue.
