The edges of the splash should have a transparent "shadow" effect, but instead show grey rectangles. As can be seen in the attached image, I have disabled subpixel rendering by setting FontSmoothing to 0x00000000 instead of 0x00000002. Yet wine still renders the fonts with subpixel rendering. This may be related to bug #17148, as I do have (and want) subpixel rendering for the rest of the desktop. There are several elements (available from th website to download). The two that I use are Studio and Creator. I am switching to a linux *Ubuntu Desktop 12.04* server. In the past I tested stationplaylist on Wine on Debian and it worked. I haev downloaded both programmes (Studio and Creator). Creator runs fine but Studio after installing when i go to run says there is a serious error and it cannot run. I have updated and followed all the advice on the "before you report a bug" page. I have restarted server and everything is up to date. Any advice or help with this would be appreciated. It may be worth pointig out then when it crashed and i go for a log nothing shows!
