Running 'wineconsole cmd' and then 'start inetcpl.cpl' from within cmd gives: Application could not be started, or no application associated with the specified file. ShellExecuteEx failed: File not found start C:/Windows/system32/inetcpl.cpl gives: Application could not be started, or no application associated with the specified file. ShellExecuteEx failed: Success Both cases bring up the Internet Options control panel applet on Windows XP. With winetricks dotnet20, it's buggy but at least somewhat usable. Indeed, the file does not exist, but I doubt it is looking in the correct place. Workaround is "winetricks dotnet40".
