There's no GNUx (GNU/Linux) driver for the Kodak ESP C310 Printer. So I decided
to install the Windows version of the software. When I first ran the software,
I got prompted by Wine in my terminal to install Mono to run .net executables.
So I did. Now I'm getting this when I log the output of the install:
fixme:exec:SHELL_execute flags ignored: 0x00000100
wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\conime.exe"
Any and all support is very much appreciated. The printer was just recently
bought and the machine it is attached to is running Ubuntu 10.10

The game needs native d3dx9_36 to display the menus correctly, I can start a
new game/tutorial mission where the user interface is rendered properly but
there are strange polygons all over the screen.
You can reproduce the problem with the demo version (start a skirmish map).
Disabling GLSL doesn't resolve the issue.
Reducing detail level to the minimum doesn't help either.

Hi,
The game crash when i want to launch it if Wine is set to Win7. There is no
problem if Wine is set to WinXP.I launch it with the d3d9 game executable
called Blacklist_game.exe. The d3d11 executable is called
"Blacklist_DX11_game.exe"
I know that i can launch the game in XP mode as workaround but resolv this bug
can be useful when d3d11 will be implemented into Wine.
In the output console, i have only these messages :

I installed Office 2003 in a new prefix with no dll overrides or additional
components. When I run Excel, the splash window stays open indefinitely, and
the main window does not respond to input. I have to kill the application.
I will test whether this is a regression and bisect it if so.

I'm not sure if the problem is with Wine or Macports but I have followed the
directions at http://davidbaumgold.com/tutorials/wine-mac/#part-1 and contacted
the author who has read the log. Here is his response:
"Looks like there's a problem with how a file is being compiled: it
can't find the symbols it needs to compile properly. This could be a
problem with Wine itself, or with the way Macports installs it. I
checked Google, and I don't see anyone else with this problem, which
is odd."
"I suggest you create a bug report on either
trac.macports.org or http://bugs.winehq.org (or both!) and attach that
log file to that bug report. Hopefully, someone more knowledgable than
me will be able to help you out.
-David"
I have done as he said and attached the log and I will place a bug report with
macports after this one is sent.

In short a certain software ISA v2 (and hopefully not only, i.e. not an app
specific issue that renders the same on native Windows (I can't check this))
displays hebrew characters in various flawed ways.
Fonts fall into at least two categories:
missing niqqud:
There are fonts that render niqqud for all but the last letter in a word. I've
also seen fonts that are rendered displaying the dot on a _final_ shin yet the
same font fails to do the same for a final vav. These fonts are almost usable
otherwise, but even these have the dots missplaced by a few pixels.
Even Ezra SIL is affected and in it's case these niqqudim are half of the
letters width off to the left. Ezra SIL fails to render both the dot on a shin
as well as for other letters.
missplacing niqqud:
There are other fonts like Tahoma, Times or Arial that render _all_ the vowels
but they fail to insert them under the letters and appear separately under
whitespace as if it was another character, which makes things illegible.

(Most fonts can't display hebrew characters at all and those that do probably
do not include vowels signs (i.e. niqqud) so testing can be tricky.)

Summary: GetDiskFreeSpaceEx() returns negative sizes for large
drives

When faced with a partition that has more than 1TB of free disk space it looks
like this API returns a negative value. Apparently this happened on OpenSUSE
11.4 64bit with a 32bit Wine; but not being fortunate enough to have this much
free disk space I cannot verify this.
I suspect some Unix API we call returns the free disk size in block of 512
bytes, thus overflowing at 2^31-1 blocks which is about 1TB. Then
GetDiskFreeSpaceEx() takes that and returns a negative free disk space.
Note that GetDiskFreeSpaceEx() returns 64bit values so there's no obstable to
it handle such large disks in theory.

works. However, once the main window interface launches, an error dialog pops
up (output attached) and the main menu bar in replaced by a red 'X' (image

think the menu should be, the menu will be displayed.

Program called Xbox soundtrack manager.
This application connects with console Xbox via LAN.
Program runs good, but during connection can't find file with database.
On Windows system there's no problem.
