Bug #: 33324
Summary: Full screen mode and "Atl+Tab"
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: 10mkudela(a)gmail.com
Classification: Unclassified
So when I'm play games running full screen mode and I want to switch to some
other application (like firefox to listen to some music). Switching to non-full
screen app works fine however when I want to switch back to the full screen one
it brakes.
I noticed that when I'm using Unity the game freezes completely while on KDE
game turns back almost perfectly, but it's shorter a bit (system bar is visible
- rest is the game) and to click something it must be clicked a bit underneath.
I think it might be something with one of Directx component. Not sure witch
one. I used Farming Simulator 2013, Neighbours from Hell (1 & 2), Mad Tracks
and Euro Truck Simulator (1 & 2). This issue don't happen in StuntGP however it
does not use mouse.

Summary: Scrabble Online will not restore from a minimised state
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.10
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P5
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kennybobs(a)o2.co.uk
As the title suggests.
Atari Scrabble Online has a minimise button, but minimising is a bad idea.
In earlier versions of wine it simply wouldn't restore. I have just tried
again in 1.1.10 and it doesn't minimise properly and locks up the screen, and
has to be killed.
This only occurs when playing the game in fullscreen mode; a virtual desktop is
an easy workaround and the game can be minimised and restored.
I don't know if a trace would be any use here, but I will certainly do one if
required.

Testcase
As described in bug 17195, SetNamedPipeHandleState is currently a stub, and
always returns FALSE. Changing it to return TRUE causes one test to fail and
currently todo_wine test to succeed. It also allows the test cases in bug
17195 to run. I'm attaching some partially implemented test cases for the
GetNamedPipeHandleState and SetNamedPipeHandleState functions.

Testcase showing the precision of exp() function
The math functions don't provide enough precision, which causes part of the
bugs 37149 and 37150.
Attached is a testcase, shows the exp() function holds about 13 precision
digits while there are about 16 in Windows/Linux.

Bug #: 29133
Summary: Gómez PEER fails to update
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.33
Platform: x86-64
URL: http://lastmile.gomez.com/PEERInstall.exe
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kennybobs(a)o2.co.uk
Classification: Unclassified
Created attachment 37554
--> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=37554
Wine 1.3.33 console output
After installing (or indeed running for the first time in a while), the Gómez
PEER attempts to auto-update. A number of messages pop up to say that the
application is unable to communicate with itself before giving up altogether.
The update seems to be actioned by javaw.exe:
"C:\PROG~FBU\Gomez\GOME~3B3\.\jre\bin\javaw.exe -cp
C:\PROG~FBU\Gomez\GOME~3B3\.\cache Respawn
C:\PROG~FBU\Gomez\GOME~3B3\.\.\jre\bin\Systeminfo.dll"
Under Windows XP and 7 this does not occur.
During upgrade gomezpeer.exe is terminated after the first error message
appears.
I will need to run under Windows again to see the differences.
This does appear to be the same as Bug 20234 but that upgrade started working,
so this must be a new bug.
Note: You need an account to get this far.
Under Wine 1.3.0 the "Last Mile updating..." windows does not appear, there is
a single error window and the application closes, but when loading a second
time the PEER continues as normal, and so must have been updated (not sure how
to check). Running a bisect is impossible due to bugs between then and now.
