2) winetricks gecko
3) install Cool Record Edit Pro
4) start Cool Record Edit Pro

Log Output from the console
With Version 7 of World of Warcraft, aka Legion expansion, the default renderer
is DX11.
Using this with wine.staging 1.9.13 results in semi transparent
charactermodels.
Especially the face looks rather weird as you can see from picture ofthe
character selection screen that i attached below.

application.
Precondion:
1. Precompiled binaries of WineD3D11 (Windows only)
I am pretty sure the same behavior will be on Linux as well. The demo and a
