Firefox is throwing the error "Failed to initialize WARP D3D11 device!", which is caught at https://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/gfx/thebes/gfxWindowsPlatfor… Firefox 36 (beta as of bug filing) starts and runs without issues. The installer derived from the beta source as of filing: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2015/02/2015-02-13-… --- Steps to reproduce: 1. Download latest Firefox mozilla-central installer (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2015/02/2015-02-13-m… as of the time of bug filing) or Aurora installer (https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2015/02/2015-02-13-… as of filing) 2. Run installer with Wine, install to default location. 3. Leave "Launch Nightly Now" box checked and click "Finish" --- Used Wine 1.7.36 with CFLAGS "-g -O0", also failed when using 1.7.34 before I rebuilt tonight. Currently running Ubuntu 14.10 on an MSI-GS60 (exact specs: http://us.msi.com/product/nb/GS60-Ghost-Pro-3K.html#hero-specification&sku_…) with GeForce GTX 870M graphics card and Nvidia driver version 331.113. Reproducible with many installers across ftp.mozilla.org and also from multiple of my own builds from the Mozilla trunk. I can get in and enable and disable plugins but when I try to build a CD I get the Wine Error popup saying that "The program UBCDWinBuilder.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close." I get this error running in cli and double clicking on the exe. Now before I get the pop I notice the application gets an error when opening up a hive while building the registry. This happens so fast I can not see the full error in the application before it crashes and the popup is produced. It won't work. This is using Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder version 2.0.8. Click on tools, and then go to "Load Hive..." An error message pops up saying "Can't load registry hive from: ... Path not found" No terminal output. The goal is to get Keyfinder to load /WINDOWS/System32/config/SOFTWARE. Note: when you tell it to load a hive, it automatically appends system32\config\software to the path you give. So if you tell it to load ~\windows\system32\config, it will look for ~\windows\system32\config\system32\config\software (which doesn't exist, or at least shouldn't). I have tried copying the config folder to the desktop and renaming everything in the path to be all lowercase (the error message prints the path in all lowercase, so I thought that might help it.), doesn't help.
