Tested installation of 76f590451717cc011948ff36d50885b9ff129173 AltiumInstaller.exe with wine-1.6-rc4. Early in installation, there is a login window that is behind a fuzzy splash screen. You can kind of see it if you use Ubuntu's alt-tab thingy, but you can't use it. Workaround: run in virtual desktop. On Wine, Steam opens as you'd expect, but it doesn't then try and start the game, it simply sits there at the Steam interface as if you'd opened the Steam and not the game specifically. Trying to open the game once Steam is already running works as expected. To recreate this behaviour; On the command line, run this command: wine start steam://run/123456 (replacing '123456' with the ID of a Steam game you have installed in Steam) This happens regardless of the way you try and launch the game, the command above is simply the easiest way to test. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
