Unfortunately it seems that Wine D3D support is not detected by this application, which starts in software mode and won't even show the relevant graphic option. The D3D accelerated features have been tested as working when using the original HW and VMWare Fusion 8. Always when it fades between scenes (means turning black for a moment) this fade does not only affect the virtual desktop but my entire screen/monitor gets black. Just start the demo (use wine taskmgr to bring the game to foreground and adjust the window size). Then quit the game and you should see a fade there which affects your entire screen. The startup screen comes up... and then the main screen... the window and all of the side items come up fine but the design area is either corrupted or is blank. it also causes the GNOME Classic menu pulldown to quit working until the window or the application is terminated.
