The problem seems to be limited to the multilib 32+64bit wine, as pure 32bit or 32bit only multilib wine don't have this problem. Also some people on arch forums reported that if the WINEPREFIX was created by a 32bit wine it would work even if the prefix was upgraded to a 64bit one.
