The problem summarize is any 2D export/printing results in a solid black blob in the file. The recommended installer from http://rubyinstaller.org runs to completion and the installed 'ruby.exe' will report its version with `wine ruby -v`. The SketchUp Make 2014 main program window is not reacting to mouse or keyboard input, and is not redrawn. Menus and icons get destroyed when another window is placed above the SketchUp Make window. The SketchUp Make window seems completely inactive after startup.
