The application itself simply downloads the main program. To workaround: 1. "winetricks -q ie6" 2. Set everything except mshtml to builtin So assuming the issue is with mshtml. Windows handles this case correctly. GLIBC strcasecmp works correctly too. This bug heavily affects winhelp index lookup in WIN32.HLP borland help file, which has lots of #.&*()[] P.S. This has a bad side effect, however. It enables sound in the menu/intro video, but when it transitions to the game, it hangs on the loading screen. This only helps in alsa mode, with oss, I get no sound, either way.
