Amazon application error appears after what appears to be a timeout when trying to install a game. Application continues to function fine but no games will download. With WINE 9.0, the same videos are played correctly. An extra symptom is that with WINE 10.0-rc2 and 10.0-rc4 the game tends to freeze when trying to quit it, so its process needs to be killed. That is something I have often seen with games that have videos that could not be played, but usually this is related to missing GStreamer plugins. After you launch it and it downloads its own files, it will try to install its "prerequisites", which will fail with Wine Mono. The issue disappears if you install "dotnet48" using winetricks, or if you launch EGS with -SkipBuildPatchPrereq flag, but neither are really good solutions as some games don't seem to work with dotnet48 and -SkipBuildPatchPrereq sometimes doesn't work. Should be noted that on real Windows, it seems to install dotnet48 using "Windows Features" component. Attaching standard debug output. My laptop has two screens, the top one has a resolution of 2560x1600 (which is correctly detected by the Wayland driver). The bottom one is a resolution of 2560x1100. On X11 the image is scaled properly on the top screen but the detected resolution is wrong (it detects the top screen as 3840x1400). No backtrace from Wine is generated. A demo version is available on Steam, but I couldn't test it as I have the full version. http://store.steampowered.com/app/55150/ Steam installs MSVC++ 2005 runtime libraries and various DirectX components the first time you start the game. Disabling gameoverlayrenderer in winecfg doesn't help. I tested this bug with Wine 1.2.3, 1.4.1, 1.5.20. The cursor in Rise of Nations and it's expansion Thrones and Patriots ignores right-clicks and left-clicks. Clicking BOTH left and right mouse button acts as a left click. There is a workaround. Editing the rise2.ini file, setting "ForceGDICursor=1" allows the cursor/mouse to behave normally. It also corrects a transparency problem with the cursor. Many web browsers are set to download files with that mime type, rather than just opening the file in the web browser. This is rather annoying. Can we change the mime types for .log files to text/plain instead?
