I copied all files to some directory. Then it displayed to enter WinMM section in config file , I added that as follows : [WinMM] "Drivers" = "wineoss.drv" "WaveMapper" = "msacm.drv" "MidiMapper" = "midimap.drv" After this when run wine I got the following errors : wine winamp fixme:ole:CoMarshalInterface Failed to Marshal the interface, 80070057? fixme:ole:_LocalServerThread CoMarshalInterface failed, 80070057! fixme:ole:CoMarshalInterface Failed to Marshal the interface, 80070057? fixme:ole:_LocalServerThread CoMarshalInterface failed, 80070057! I could have some files that were written by some old rpm installation lying around. Or maybe not, but I did have wine installed from Mandrake rmps before, so... That's what I'm going to do (probably in a few hours): a) rpm -qa | grep wine b) Unistall all wine-related rpms that appear on step a) c) Compile and install wine from sources again, after cheking if there is any debugging related flag that can be applied to the build process d) Run wine again with WINEDEBUG='+ole,+tid' e) Post here the results. But maybe I had some old rpm somewhere... I'll try to uninstall all my rpm, compile it again from source and post result here.
