It fails in the middle of the download process (well, actually near to the end of it). "Cannot download all the necessary modules. Press OK to Exit". I looked at the app database for ie - and found no useful hints. The first time I got two unresolved symbols when linking the wine executable: InterlockedCompareExchange and InterlockedExchange This forced me to link with kernel32.dll.so and wine worked. Of course I can just click on the title bar for the menu to reapear, but this gets annoying very quickly. Had around a 93% correct configuration according to wine check.
