Cloudflare apparently responds with a HTTP 302 (Found) but gives a new location with HTTP instead of HTTPS. http://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bu… Clicking "Continue" in Chrome attempts to connect with HTTP just to be redirected again with a HTTP 307 (Temporary Redirect) back to HTTP, and on it goes. It looks like the login cookie might be sent in cleartext. Somehow, I do eventually end up connecting via HTTPS, but Wireshark confirms that HTTP connections are being made, before being shut down by Chrome. My DNS logs show that Chrome does ask for the HTTPS entry in the record so *maybe* that's how it gets there... I really don't know. However, it is still there because I can use xdotool to map it. I even wrote a script to start Rocket League then search and activate it using xdotool before it disappears. Even after I manage to pass the challenge, I get a error page telling me I didn't specified the Wine version for the screenshot, but it's quite obvious what's happening here: the CF challenge is getting in the way, eating the POST'd form data (including the screenshot itself!), and after getting past the challenge, screenshots.php receives no data at all, so it errors out with the first missing piece of information it can find, I guess. This is a very weird place to put a challenge, since it effectively breaks the workflow, and furthermore, I noticed WineHQ is migrating away from Cloudflare challenges to Anubis (which is more tolerant with non-mainstream browsers), but somehow this one slipped down the cracks. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [...] I don't know if this causes my OS to not offering sound anymore. Whether the "System Default" or the specific node device is picked in winecfg, the "Test Sound" goes to one higher than chosen. In my case, the speakers are on /dev/dsp4. In the log, that device is considered the default devnode. However, the devnode chosen for output is /dev/dsp5. If I chose /dev/dsp3 specifically, then the audio will be output via the speakers.
