--- Comment #53 from Ismael Barros <razielmine(a)gmail.com> ---
Hello guys, just let me add one comment before we move this organization to a
more suitable media.
As Adrian Kalla noted (comment #64), I worked on dplay on GSoC 2k8, but didn't
have time to get anything to a working state, although I got pretty close.
Afterwards, I had to attend other priorities, so I didn't follow up on the
project, and besides dplay support was always a "meh" priority task.
Nowadays I don't have the spare time needed to hack this library together to a
stable state (and I'd rather accept donations in minutes than in dollars as
currency, I'm really poor in time :P), but I can certainly help anyone willing
to step up, sharing the resources I used.
For instance, I used GTA2 as a target for my implementation, but I started off
with the minimalistic dplay demos that came with DirectX 8.1 or 9 SDK. A
complete list of games using dplay with download links can be found here:
http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlay. I also had a working Wireshark dissector for
dplay, I don't remember if I ever got to merge it upstream.
>From what I remember, after merging some dplay tests upstream, in my own branch
(see comment #28) I got working service provider listing and server discovery,
but got stuck at communication, IIRC looking for a way to handle closing
communications in an elegant way.

Hi Henri. After clean installation, in case of WinXP it gives me "Software
renderer" and twice "NVIDIA GT240". 3Dsetup.exe appears completly broken when
run under Win98, but that would deserve another bug report...
But i guess, that originaly reported issue is fixed. When the installer is run
under Win98 (wont' show up in case of installing under WinXP), at the end there
is a message (thus it sees, that DX is installed):
"A version of DirectX higher than 7.0a has been detected on your system".
Unfortunately i'm not able to start the game under wine-1.7.13-27-ge610713. It
crashes immediately here.

Come on people, let's get this ball rolling. Enough people pledge money, I'm
sure we can make a talented programmer very happy. Maybe they're short on
mortgage repayment this month, their car loan, they skint on money to feed
their wife and kids. Or who knows, maybe they want to have a few nights of fun
and we can enable them ;)
$100 here. $50 there. $20 here. $10 there. Enough people chip in, we can get
this hole in WINE filled. The fact that it affects old games I think is of
quite great importance, many many people who used Windows back in the day have
shifted to Linux and want to relive the old days of gaming (me bloody well
included!), but this missing feature of WINE is stopping an extremely part of
that: multiplayer. This feature gets properly implemented, and great classics
such as GTA2, Hardwar and AoE will reliably run network games across Linux,
Windows and Mac machines.

Hello Nikolay,

Installer still leaves IDriver process hanging around. Program itself starts
just fine for me. Anyone has an idea what we should check here? Otherwise I'd
say it's abandoned.
--- quote ---
as I read OP's initial report the bug was _not_ about the hanging out-of-proc
IShield COM server process but about the failure to start the app afterwards.
Since the IDE starts fine it's 'fixed' not 'abandoned'.
You are of course free to create a new bug about the lingering IShield server
process.
It doesn't look serious as the install itself is already finished at that
point.

It seems that the button / checkbox "Automatically ..." hides the rest of the

Surely it couldn't be hard for someone to at least write a universal shell

Now I'm waiting for the inevitable "Well, why don't you do it?".

patch
So it was actually a clearly visible problem, or two:
- with my recent patch I screwed up pointer incrementing when copying;
- after copy destination array wasn't updated with actual element size,
this results in a crash on destroy, because it tries to do 32 byte increments
(default value), instead of 16 bytes in this particular case of a structure
with 2 BSTR pointers.
After this fixed (patch attached), next problem is clear:

Doesn't seem like an easy workaround to me... The list of affected apps for
this bug is fairly large (and ovbiously incomplete)
Homeworld 2 network issues are in no way resolved by using "winetricks
directplay" and/or modifying any registry values
Where would one contribute to any effort to improve the issue?
Status: Still NEW?

Summary: jscript:activex fails if the user does not have

Product: Wine
Version: 1.7.12
Hardware: x86

Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: jscript
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

Classification: Unclassified
If the user does not have elevated privileges, then we get 81 test failures.
This can be seen in the fg-win7u64-1spie9-adm, fg-win7u64-spie9-usr VM results
and also happens on my Windows 8.1 Acer laptop (fg-acer64-w81-t32 and
fg-acer64-w81-t64). See:
http://test.winehq.org/data/tests/jscript:activex.html
Mostly it seems to be the IActiveScriptParse::ParseScriptText() calls that are
failing with all the other failures being natural consequences of that. So I'm
only showing the ParseScriptText failures below:
activex.c:828: Test failed: ParseScriptText failed: 800a01ad
activex.c:955: Test failed: ParseScriptText failed: 800a01ad
activex.c:1006: Test failed: ParseScriptText failed: 800a01ad
activex.c:1023: Test failed: ParseScriptText failed: 800a01ad
activex.c:1056: Test failed: ParseScriptText failed: 800a01ad
I suspect the issue is that without elevated privileges we cannot
register/install our Wine.Test ActiveX object. I would expect to get failures a
bit earlier though.
Probably the solution is to include the is_process_limited() function and skip
the tests at some point if it returns TRUE.

Hello,
the installer of Lexware Financial Office Pro 2012 v12.0 shows an empty dialog
with nothing to navigate.
Using a window/message spy (Winspector) and trace log one can see this dialog
window actually embeds a flash player ActiveX control.
No 'flash' prerequisite needed, the installer ships its own.
'winetricks -q ie7' works around, the flash window content is shown.
After reducing the dependencies created by IE7 one by one, native urlmon seems
the culprit.

When Wine is recieved TCM_SETCURSEL with wParam == -1,
dwState of current pressed tab is kept TCIS_BUTTONPRESSED.
I have confirmed this with wine-1.4.1 and master branch 82b38139, on ubuntu
13.10.
TAB_GetItem(infoPtr, prevItem)->dwState &= ~TCIS_BUTTONPRESSED;
This is a line in TAB_SetCurSel().
I guess this process is needed also when wParam == -1, isn't this?
Effects example:
xyzzy editor
(Stable English version) http://xyzzy.s53.xrea.com/english/archive/
(Stable Japanese version) http://www.jsdlab.co.jp/~kamei/
(Developing Japanese version) https://github.com/xyzzy-022/xyzzy
To reproduce the issue:
1. Run xyzzy.exe on Wine
2. Type [ALT] v q b to show buffer-tab
3. Type [ESC] x new-file to create new buffer-tab
4. Click "*scratch*" tab to Select the buffer
5. Same as 3. (Type [ESC] x new-file to create new buffer-tab)
6. Make sure of unselectable buffer-tabs
Xyzzy send TCM_SETCURSEL with -1 in above 5.

Summary: Desktop launchers generated by Steam use unregistered

After upgrading Steam to the new UI, the application icons Steam generates have
a launch command doesn't work with Wine, because the steam URL handler isn't
registered (at least in GNOME):
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Uplink
Exec=env WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.wine" wine winebrowser steam://rungameid/6910
Type=Application
StartupNotify=true
$ wine winebrowser steam://rungameid/1510
fixme:ntoskrnl:KeInitializeTimerEx stub: 0x110f60 0
gvfs-open: steam://rungameid/1510: error opening location: La ubicación
especificada no está soportada
(That translates to "unsupported location.")
A desktop file generated with the older UI looks like this and launches the
game fine:
#!/usr/bin/env xdg-open
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Deus Ex Game of the Year Edition
Exec=env WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.wine" wine "C:\\Archivos de
programa\\Steam\\steam.exe" -applaunch 6910
Type=Application
StartupNotify=true
Path=/home/user/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Archivos de programa/Steam
Icon=/home/user/.local/share/icons/b45c_hdtp.png
There's a workaround for this problem. Add an URL handler
for the steam protocol to your desktop environment and have it run the
following:
wine "c:\\Archivos de Programa\\steam\\steam.exe" %s

Wine identifies 200MB out of 30GB of available userland memory
Occasionally when attempting to run Skyrim (or other memory intensive programs)
through Wine on OS X, a "Memory Error: Not enough memory to run application"
popup will appear and the program will exit.
Simple workarounds: logging out and back in, rebooting.
I believe this is caused by GlobalMemoryStatusEx() in kernel32/heap.c returning
wildly incorrect values (see the attached log for an example from a system with
32GB of memory - most of it available).
On OS X and BSDs, GlobalMemoryStatusEx() still gets the total system memory
(ullTotalPhys) by asking sysctl() for the value of HW_PHYSMEM, which is capped
at 2GB. The available system memory (ullAvailPhys) is determined by asking
sysctl() for HW_USERMEM, which is also apparently 32-bit and overflows
dreadfully. On OS X, Wine temporarily stores both values in an unsigned int.
I recompiled kernel32.dll.so using HW_MEMSIZE in place of HW_PHYSMEM and a
kludged value for ullAvailPhys; Skyrim now runs reliably. The example patch
will also be attached for anyone who can reproduce this issue.

Hello folks,
as the summary says...
It seems the app fetches network adapter information via WMI(utils) and doesn't
like a network adapter with 'IPEnabled' and NULL 'MACaddress' property.
The problem is that Wine's WMI network adapter info also populates the virtual
loopback device which doesn't have a MAC address by design although it is
'alive'.
On Windows, the virtual adapter used for the 'loopback' address range is
emulated straight inside the stack with no explicit interface properties
exposed.
On MSDN/Technet there is a 'Microsoft Loopback Adapter' mentioned but this
isn't the same thing as the virtual loopback adapter used in Linux (not present
by default, needs explicit installation)

With patch from Bug 31138 and native wininet LOL store is now working.
But with builtin wininet it doesn't load window just stays black.
I'm attaching +wininet log.
This looks suspicious:

The Gamefly client previously suffered from this problem of not being able to
install game content it successfully downloads, and this was fixed by SHA1
53e4ddc399cef1f044fb25bdb19a478ced6178d7 wrt bug #27569 ; this bad behavior has
returned, somewhere on the road towards the wine-1.6 release ;; rolling back to
wine-1.5.15 effectively sees things work again, but I'm unsure if it's the
exact same issue again or not. I can attempt to get a better fix on when/where
things started going awry again here if needed.
The attached debuglog (+trace,+seh,+tid,+ntdll) is capture from starting the
gamecly client, logging on, selecting and downloading a game (which completes
successfully) and then clicking on the 'install game' 2 or 3 times to generate
the 'Install error' message.

Summary: MCC Pilotlog cannot navigate internet for data import
feature.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.11
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mshtml
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: charlie.andrews(a)tiscali.co.uk
MCC Pilotlog has been working OK in general for me with wine 1.3.11 under
Ubuntu 10.10 x64.
However, one of the features of the application is that it can log into a
company crew information system and retrieve flight information into the log. I
have tested this on a windows VM, and it works fine.
However, under Wine, we get error 445 and then a crash. I am a bit surprised,
as I thought that the IE-mimicking facilities in Wine would be able to cope.
I've contacted the MCC developers about the issue, and they cannot throw too
much light on the subject, but suggest that this is a code chink that may be
causing the problem:
-----------------------------
For Each HTMLi In WebBr.Document.getElementsByName("Id")
HTMLi.Value = TxtLoginName
Next
For Each HTMLi In WebBr.Document.getElementsByName("Pass")
HTMLi.Value = TxtPassword
Next
For Each HTMLi In WebBr.Document.getElementsByName("B1")
HTMLi.Click
Exit For
Next
------------------------------
Terminal output attached. This application has to be run with wine set as win
7.
To reproduce:
Follow installation steps on AppDB entry.
Run the application
Choose 'Settings', then 'Interfaces - Airline PDA'
Choose 'Air Astana' from drop-down menu.
Close this window
Choose 'Airline Interface'
Double-click 'Air Astana' on the left-hand side of the pop-up to show the
in-app browser display.
Type 2x4 digit numbers in the login window. (I can't give you my real login,
sorry! The error exists without valid credentials.)
Click 'Start'
I have selected mshtml as the component with the issue, but I am not completely
sure.

Hello folks,
as the summary says...
Seems kind of overkill to run 'winetricks ie7' to have the installer see a
wininet.dll with 7.0 version resource.
What Internet Exploder version compatibility does Wine strive for?
IE6 seems pretty much dead (<5% market share).

When you try and open a video file in VideoReDo Plus the application crashes.
To replicate error: Start up VideoReDo Plus, Click on the 'Open Video' button
on the main page, select a MPEG2 video file (either double click on the
filename or select the file and click on the 'Open' button).
The 'Open Video' dialog box will disappear and the video viewport in the
application will turn green. The application will then stop responding and
WINE will generate an error dialog box indication that VideoReDo.exe has
encountered a serious problem and needs to be closed.
After regression testing I found that VideoReDo does work almost perfectly in
WINE Version 0.9.47. (The only problem is that the video has a a blueish tint
to it, most prominently with skin tones.)

After selecting a character and attempting to enter the world, a loading screen

game's builtin error handler and the game aborts.
This bug is only seen in the 64-bit client and is not present on windows. The
bug is also reported against a wide range of hardware and wine versions. It is
not a wine regression.

I'm pretty sure the original issue is fixed. Please open separate bugs for any

Does this still happen? (In particular with a new install.) I can select my
graphics card with 3DSetup.exe, and after that the game no longer complains on
startup.

I have the impression that the original bug is likely fixed, but that this is
blocked by bug 3952, and will be for a good while. Is there really any point in
keeping this open? I'd propose closing this, and filing a new bug if 3952 ever
goes away.

Actually all missing DLLs should be shown as Error message boxes - it's default
Windows behavior to whine about missing DLLs.
Why doesn't wine do that is a great mystery to me.

After spending sometime testing this I decided to test in windows. It turns out
at least XP will not allow you to create a directory named "...".
This reminds me of other bug (I can't find right now) about a problem related
to listing files with same name but different case, AFAIR we closed it invalid
(or maybe wontfix) since it was not possible to do that in windows.

I tried to reproduce this bug with a very minimal virtual FF joystick (2 axes
and 1 button), and force feedback works in wine-1.7.11-206-g82b3813
(I'm not saying that it works perfectly, but the force along the X axis seems
to work, see attachment)

Visualisation of forces in LFS (realtime)
Real-time visualisation of FF forces produced by LFS using a dummy FF device
("ff-dummy-device").
As one can see, force is generated in the X direction, as it should. The
plotted results match with the movement and interaction of the car with the
environment.
LFS seems to use "DIEFF_CARTESIAN" as direction type, "direction[0] = f" and
"(*lpvTypeSpecificParams)->lMagnitude = abs(f)" with "f" being the (signed)
force along the steering wheel axis.

This is probably caused by the Linux kernel driver, not supporting periodic
effects. What steering wheel do you use?
>
>
> 2. There is wrong behavior when hitting right or left side of car, the

This is probably caused by the buggy implementation of Wine's dinput concerning
force directions (POLAR case). Right now, the effect's force will always point
in (approximately) the same direction, which is left in your case.
I'm working to get this and many other bugs fixed.

Probably related to 1), the driver might says it doesn't support that effect
(or the parameters used in that effect.)

Apparently only those with bugzilla triage privileges or higher can add
keywords or depends on/blocks when filing bugs. Others can add it after the bug
is filed, but not at the same time. This causes either:
A) extra e-mail/time wasted
B) users to forget/not know to fill in those keywords

Hi, a user reported trouble with this app on user-list.
It crashes right away with:
Unhandled Exception: System.Security.Principal.IdentityNotMappedException: Some
or all identity references could not be translated.
at
System.Security.Principal.SecurityIdentifier.Translate(IdentityReferenceCollection
sourceSids, Type targetType, Boolean forceSuccess)
The problem seems to be this line from the consoleoutput:
fixme:advapi:LsaLookupSids (0xcafe,1,0x877c08,0x32f154,0x32f148) stub
Simply returning STATUS_SUCCESS instead of STATUS_NOT_MAPPED didn't help
(crashed with a null pointer derefernce), so i guess this'll need a kind of
real implementation of LsaLookupSids

While running wine in desktop mode and playing a game with Steam, if Steam
finds an update for itself, a window will appear on top of the game and will
not accept input. For games that do not support a windowed run mode (e.g.
Civilization IV), the only way to make the window go away is to exit the game
before attempting to access the Steam client window.
This occurs, for example, when I run Steam with the following script.
---- 8< cut 8< ----
#!/bin/zsh
WINEVERSION=1.2-rc3
export WINEPREFIX="$HOME/local/lib/wine-ok"
$HOME/local/wine-$WINEVERSION/bin/wine explorer \
/desktop=foo,1920x1080 start \
'C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe'

Steam may be downloaded at the following URL (though, you may need a Steam
account, which you may create at steampowered.com, first).

In the options Wine ticked "keep mouse" but nothing happens. In the x32 system,
everything works fine. Setup with perfiks x32 probolemy not decided.
Error is very similar to Bug 6971 but there was a x32 system.

Hi,
Since the latest update of EA Origin, this application crash when winecfg is
set to Win7. With winecfg is set to WinXP, there isn't problem, it works.
This is the ouput console when i launch the application :

This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

As you can see in the +relay log attached in this bug report, i have these
message when the application crash
-------- SNIP --------

-------- SNIP --------
I attach the +file log too but i don't know if it's very necessary to find the
cause of the crash.
This bug is easily reproductible :
1- Download Origin.exe from EA website :
https://eaassets-a.akamaihd.net/Origin-Client-Download/origin/live/OriginTh…
2- Set wine to Win7
3- Install it, unckek all options. Accept the reboot or not. There will have an
automatic update. After this, Origin will launch automatically.
Thanks,
Max

Summary: Warcraft 3 TFT: Keys control-6 and control-8 do not
work (REGRESSION from wine 1.0)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.26
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: ge0ffrey.spam(a)gmail.com
Using Ubuntu 9.04, Wine 1.1.26, Nvidea card.
I don't have any global ubuntu shortcut on control-6 or control-8 in my
shortcut settings.
In warcraft 3, the control-number keys are used to assign groups, so you can
press the number to select the group of units. The control key combined with
1-5,7,9 and 0 work, but control-6 and control-8 do not.
I personally assign my buildings from control-0 down to control-5 and my units
from control-1 to control-4, so now I don't have enough keys in linux :)
Wine 1.0 on Ubuntu 8.04 with an Nvidea card didn't have this problem, so this
is a regression.
To be able to play in full screen mode properly, I had to disable "let window
manager decorate windows" and "let window manager manage windows".

Running Ubuntu 10.10 and Wine 1.2.1, system specs attached. In "Windowed Mode",
the resolution starts at 1072x588 and cannot be changed by the in-game
resolution settings (nothing happens), and can only be resized by dragging the
edges. I encountered the same problem on another Ubuntu 10.10 machine but the
only similarities were our monitor sizes and native/max resolutions (1440x900).

Sometimes when playing Warcraft 3 on battle.net I suffer from temporary
disconnection spikes. These occur for about 20 seconds at a time, and then I
recover back into the game. Once they start happening they happen every minute
or so, until eventually I get dropped by other players. Most of the time I do
not have this problem and it occurs quite randomly once in a while in games.
(This is not due to my own internet connection. Other apps running at the same
time (including Wine apps) still maintain a solid internet connection during
this time. I know this because I use ventrilo when playing warcraft 3 and I can
still hear, talk, and see my ping as quite low.)

Hello folks,
I can't reproduce this with recent Wine version.
The app embeds a web browser control in each property page to display some sort
of prescription information.
There is information displayed for each item, though the web browser
control/window seems misplaced.
Could be related to incomplete mshtml/ieframe/shdocvw interfaces for hosting
support and/or missing IOleCommandTarget command group handling
Resolving 'fixed'.
I'll open a new bug for the misplaced browser window.
Also removing dependency to bug 5849 ... don't know why it was added here.
There is no relation.

--- Comment #24 from Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> ---
I spent some time today on this, and now I can say that SafeArrayCopyData() is
broken when array is IRecordInfo based - this call just copies over pointers
from existing array, and this is obviously won't go very well. Proper way to do
so is to call IRecordInfo_RecordCopy(), I have some tests for that but need
more time to polish them. Anyway it's not enough, after this fixed it still
crashes in RecordCopy() on BSTR field. So it's really about
safearray<->recordinfo interoperation as far as I can tell.

The MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester Agent (MetaTester 5) installs itself as a
system (SYSTEM account) service on Windows XP and starts automatically at boot.
The same application also starts the services manually during its first run.
The main application MetaTester.exe controls all the agents running on a local
machine and each agent is the same application launched again but with specific
command line arguments.
The agents seem to start fine during first run but on subsequent runs the
agents can fail to start.

Once installed the agents attempt to start whenever Wine is launched as would
be expected.
This is hit and miss: sometimes the agents start, sometimes they don't, but
sometimes one can start whereas another does not. No idea why.

In the games Age of Empires 1 and 2, the mouse cursor movement is slower/choppy
with the winemac driver compared to being smooth in X11. I think this has been

app PDF995 don't work message
Good morning.
would like to report that the version 1.1.43 of Wine, used in my Linux Ubuntu
10:04 is not loading programs website http://www.pdf995.com
These programs are very useful for managing PDF files, much better than the
programs for Linux (the Linux apps to add, split, merge and extract text from
PDF files usually crash in the middle of operations, but the programs never
crash PDF995).
Even the version of Wine that came with Ubuntu 9.04 I never had this problem,
but to upgrade to ubuntu Wine 9:10 left running these apps. The solution I had
at the time was "lock version" of Wine and not let you upgrade and it worked,
but when I installed ubuntu 10:04 version of Wine that was already the
repositories was superior to that which I had caught and besides you can not
back to that version, I have no means of making apps PDF995 back into service.
PORTUGUESE:
Bom dia.
programas do pdf995 nunca travam).
Até a versão do Wine que vinha com o ubuntu 9.04 nunca tive este problema, mas
ao fazer a atualização para o ubuntu 9.10 o Wine deixou de rodar estes apps. A
voltarem a funcionar.

Reverting this commit in Wine 1.7.11 (latest git) fixes the problem.
A native wbem/wbemprox.dll (and system32/wbemcomn.dll) from Windows 7 works
around the problem.
Another workaround is to simply disable wbemprox.dll
(WINEDLLOVERRIDES=wbemprox=) although it is not clear if this will have any
negative impact on the application.
An account is required to log in with the application.
Notes:
1. The workaround to Bug 31517 (WINEDLLOVERRIDES=wined3d=) also works around
the problem because:
err:module:import_dll Library wined3d.dll (which is needed by
L"C:\\windows\\system32\\dxgi.dll") not found
err:module:import_dll Library dxgi.dll (which is needed by
L"C:\\windows\\system32\\wbemprox.dll") not found
2. The Java app got stuck at 200% CPU (100% x 2 cores) which may or may not be
related to the native DLLs.

Hello,
I copied a simple Screenshot code and made some easy changes on it. The
Screenshot-Code is saved in a DLL an i call its function 'int
do_screenshot(char*)'.
There are 3 files:
- w32ss.cpp
Implementation of the Screenshot-Logic.
- w32ss.hpp
Header of w32ss.cpp (export do_screenshot for C)
- w32ss_test
Test-Program for the dll.
The program is very small and easy. I compiled it with the Microsoft C++
Compiler and MinGw on Windows. Both binaries work on Windows.
On Wine the Test-Output works and the tool finishes, but the screenshot-file is
not created. I don't know why.
best regards

Launcher failure
Pirate101 installs without any overrides. On first run, the launcher allows you
to login and then starts to download the game, but soon pops up a message that
"A problem has occurred" and asks if you want to report it to KingsIsle.
Regardless of whether you click yes or no, the launcher is a zombie at that
point and everything has to be manually killed.
Winetricks ie7 works around the problem, and the game itself seems to work fine
(at least the little I tested). I also tested removing the overrides set by
winetricks after the first run, and found that on subsequent runs the game
launched and did download content during the game.

Bug #: 33892
Summary: major bugfix in IRecordInfoImpl_RecordCopy
Product: Wine
Version: 1.6-rc3
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: oleaut32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rosen.diankov(a)gmail.com
Classification: Unclassified
the following function in oleaut32/recinfo.c
static HRESULT WINAPI IRecordInfoImpl_RecordCopy(IRecordInfo *iface, PVOID
pvExisting, PVOID pvNew)
needs to copy stuff from pvExisting to pvNew, however it was doing the
opposite!
The fix is simple, just do:
memcpy(pvNew, pvExisting, This->size);
