The installer runs to completion, but the result is not happy. Before starting the installer, you should install the Visual C++ 6 runtimes, and set the registry key to indicate that IE 6 is installed (see http://kegel.com/wine/fakeie.sh.txt). A few highlights from the log: err:module:import_dll Library MFC42u.DLL (which is needed by L"C:\\Program Files\\ArcGIS\\Bin\\afui.dll") not found wine: Call from 0x7ee9db60 to unimplemented function atl.dll.AtlModuleAddCreateWndData, aborting Could not load 'KEYBOARD.DLL' required by 'UNWISE', error=2 It dumps a lot of files into c:\, and it dumps a lot of files into c:\Progra~1 ! Furthermore now works with OS set to e.g. win XP as well. So for me it is fixed. The installer loops through the installation of quicktime over and over as previously stated. There are several ole errors, and advapi errors in addition to the msi errors and when the about itunes page comes up, no text is displayed on the screen. First step - only file camelot.exe, updating.dat, game.dll and this phases work very well. Second step - check all file installed on pc before second updating (300/400MB or 2GB c.ca in case of last expansion Darkness Rising) and this updating not work. After finish check file appears at video mini popup and in this popup is write: Error 308 Impossible to complete software updating. Retry to connect in few minutes. If this test failed check your network connection. Case 2 Running client patched in other method, eg: from windows. In this case is necessary only check for file installed before login windows running but at finish check appears popup windows. Error 308 Impossible to complete software updating. Retry to connect in few minutes. If this test failed check your network connection. Attention. Error 308 not is wine error but, i suppose, Mythic Entertainment error. Henri Verbeet is working on some cleanup in that part of the code, so we may support this soon. - Sound is pretty choppy. With emule (http://www.emule-project.net/) and kademlia it's the same problem, kademlia (protocol using udp) gets disconnected after a while, and emule is unable to reconnect to the network (stay in "trying" mode). the output of netstat for that udp port is the folowing: Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name udp 221064 0 0.0.0.0:10466 0.0.0.0:* 3281/wineserver for the utorrent process the queue was around 1 mega How to reproduce : for utorrent : install utorrent , launch it (make sure the udp port is a reachable from internet) , the number of nodes (shown at the bottom should start increasing, wait some times until it reaches zero, dht doesnt work anymore (you can test it by adding a torrent, and modify the tracker to something bogus, to force the use of dht, but the torrent won't start downloading) for emule : download it, install it, make sure udp port is reachable from internet, if it's the first time you might need to connect to a regular server first, then start downloading something, then go to the kademlia page and click connect. now wait a certain amount of time (no downloads are required during this) , until kad get disconnected (the top right arrow goes from green to red in the bottom right corner of the screen) . you can click bootstrap or connect from the kademlia page, it wont work anymore. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.

Try disabling each one of those independently, and see which one fixes it (if any). Also, humor me, and change the line in device.c which says "pbuffer_support == FALSE;" to TRUE instead, and see if that does anything (I doubt it, but it's worth a try).
