Screenshot of SupCom about 10 seconds after startup. Only the cursor is
rendered.

This shows what happens on my computer. It is the same bug (i.e. nothing
rendered except cursor) but this does not change in versions of wine pre-0.9.56
as the reporter's experience is; i.e. it is not a regression for me.
