Btw, the qt-demo applications (EA's Qt-origin version and Qt upstream's ones)
that are threaded and/or networked seem to work just fine under wine, so I'm
unsure if I'd call it a Qt-problem or not. Though, they probably do not spawn
as many threads as Origin does...

And that patch will only workaround network problems in Origin. The
EAProxyInstaller hang still occurs.
