If this is a virtual memory exhaustion issue, then there is a chance it can be worked around by an attached hack (the patch in the present form is taken from Proton). The game should be run with WINE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 environment variable in this case.
But it would really be nice to see the log.
I ran the game using this command which include WINE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1
env WINEPREFIX="/home/user/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/HaloOnline" wine "C:\windows\command\start.exe" /Unix "/home/user/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/HaloOnline/drive_c/Halo Online/eldorado.exe" &> haloonline.txt WINEDEBUG=warn+d3d9,warn+d3d,+d3d_shader WINE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1
But it did not solve the black texture memory issue. I loaded Diamondback and all as fine then after I loaded Reactor and there was black textures in the map.
