The only backtrace in your logs is useless, you should pass QueryServiceStatusEx exceptions if you are running winedbg. Please attach mshtml,urlmon,shdocvw,seh logs.
Was this fixed with 1.1.0? I can't find the old updater anymore so I won't be able to retest.
