When you need a program and it or any other windows program aside from notepad doesn't work at all(!) I would say that it is pretty critical and I would like to get it fixed so I can go back to using it like I did when my computer was a windows machine.
You haven't mentioned that at all before. Please explain your situation in the clearest way possible. Have you tried a clean wineprefix? WINEPREFIX=~/wine-test wine modo.exe
