[Bug 17970] Altium DXP 2004 combo boxes cannot be selected

Ok, what direction is forward from here? Should I close the bug as a WONTFIX
and just leave the patch here for anyone who might use DXP? I don't really know
of an easy way to resolve the regression unless you have an idea. It sounds
like a conflict in the way these two apps are using that API functionality.
