Now that this isn't on ubuntu forums, to business. Needs a +relay log.

WINEDEBUG=+relay wine SPOREsetup.exe 1>winedebug.log 2>&1

It will take a while, but once you feel like it crashed, kill the program. (do
a wineserver -k to make sure its dead. ) bzip2 winedebug.log will compress it.
After that upload winedebug.log.bz2 here.
