Native 'quartz' results into the same overly green and/or purple colours.

I'll see if I can set up a Windows test at some point.  It may take a while,
but I would also be able to tell if there's another issue with the video, in
that the aspect ratio isn't preserved (the image is stretched horizontally). 
It might be due to the resolution settings, however, since some things in the
game only know 4:3 still.
