Sorry, forgot to mention that...
The video card is a GeForce FX 5200, and it always gave me this problem (the
same issue happened in Cedega before the game worked in Wine) whatever version
the driver was. The current version of the driver is 173.14.05.

I'll try with another pc with an ATI card as soon as I can to see if it happens
there as well.
