It is a 10 year old app originally designed to run in Windows 3.1, but I have run it successfully natively on WIN95 and WIN98, but not WINXP. Up until last week I was running it successfully on WIN4LIN usin WIN98. Due to a crash and lack of support for the old WIN4LIN version I was using, I cant get it reinstalled.
While I don't expect a lot or any effort put into this for this specific app, since there probably are not very many people that still use it, my purpose for filing the bug report was to hopefully either get more Win 3.1 support or possibly fix the existing problem based on the fact that this app and other Win 3.1 apps will run on Win98 and the install goes through smoothly until it updates the registry, then crashes. I'm sure there are other older apps that behave similarly.
