[Bug 18916] Thief 2 crashes when bringing up in-game menu

I've checked the Thief 2 demo ... and alas, it seems to be *completely* broken,
I can't seem to get it to work at all on any 1.x version of Wine (haven't tried
0.9x versions), so we can't use this as a reference -- it crashes as soon as I
try to start a fresh game (and I have no saved games to try, so it probably
never worked very well...).
