Because it is not possible to retest my issue on latest wine because creation
of brand new wineprefix is failing (comment 6) I decided to test it on official
paid version of CrossOver, for this purpose I downloaded a trial version and
created a new bottle with EA installation. Still it is not possible to connect
to https EA repository, the symptoms seems to be the same as reported before,
connection hangs for approx 1 minute etc. I cannot provide logs because I do
not know how to access command window, sorry. Hope this helps a little.
