[Bug 24415] Unhandled exception from RtlReAllocateHeap when starting PTR WoW.exe

Due to unrelated problems, I was unable to do further testing for a week or two
and reformatted my Linux partition.

With a freshly updated Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, makefile build and install of today's
git after apt-get build-dep wine, the problem persists. The trace consistently
shows MMDRV_InitPerType and below, with a few ALSA functions sometimes
appearing between that and RtlReAllocateHeap.

I'm going to try letting the launcher download to completion as soon as I can,
to see if that works around the problem.
