It freezes at the opening screens using 100% cpu (which also locks the rest of the system) and loads up almost 1 gig of memory. Then, after a long wait (up to 5 minutes), it gets past the opening screens and runs normally without even the poor keyboard response which occurs with wine 1.6.2. Cpu demand drops off to about 10% and it frees up almost all of the memory. I am unable to provide a backtrace because it will not start from command line, just gives a "failed with error 2" followed by "failed with error 3". (I used to be able to start it from command line using "wine (path to exe file)").
