I was about to create a ZIP archive to test it on my windows machine. however, as i putted the wxmsw28_gcc_custom.dll, mediaplayer.exe and mingw10.dll into a temporary directory, i thought about testing it again. and for some reason i'm able to launch mediaplayer.exe without any problems. I can't explain this behaviour. the samples directory does not contain any DLLs. Playing Mediafiles doesn't work. no matter what kind of file i try to play, it keeps telling me it failed to load.
I'm sorry. i guess this bug can be safely closed.
