[Bug 43804] [Steam] Alien Swarm Reactive Drop: GPU hang after a minute or two

I tried using older kernels (4.12), the xorg intel driver (i use modesetting
normally), and it still hangs. I have found an error message for this...

intel_do_flush_locked failed: Input/output error

This looks like a driver issue, but it only happens when using wine on this
game, so I'm guessing it is a combination of wine + the september 15th update.
Using wine 2.18 does not fix this. I will try to see if 2.18 staging works when
it comes out. If anybody has any suggestions, please do so.
